Yep UK’s defense is turrible. Plus it’s hard to win on the road

I’m still holding on to my preseason prediction of 14-4 wins the conference

And tomorrow goes a long way in determining if we are a 14-4 or 13-5 team

I really can't figure out basketball. Is home court advantage really THAT important if teams are lopsided in quality?

Auburn is light years better than Alabama this year. Our only losses on the road came against Baylor (who is much better than Alabama) and against App State in a "who gives a shite" game early in the season.

We nearly beat Baylor.

I also like that we're strong underneath. You don't have to worry so much about the crowd affecting shots if you're inside going for layups.

Well the same metrics that really like AU really like Bama as well. And those metrics are extremely influential and/or mirror the Vegas models. Bama has a lot of losses but they are all to good and mostly great teams

The wildest stat in college basketball right now: Per @EvanMiya lineup data, the most efficient five-man group in the country (with at least 90 possessions together) is … Auburn’s second five.

Kentucky gave up 96 points to Georgia at Rupp in the previous game . This arse whipping from the Cocks was on the cards.

Defending without fouling is certainly a key to beating Bama. Bama runs a modern analytical offensive system where the only shots you will see them take are 3's and shots at the rim. "Treys and Lays".

Did you play or coach? Your analysis helps out very much. I have a hard time with basketball plays/schemes.

Bruce Presser:

"I don't know that in the SEC, there's a team, this is a good research project, is there a team that doesn't have a high-major transfer on its roster? Auburn might be that only team."

I haven't even thought of that till I heard it, pretty impressive roster build by the staff.

The way he mentioned it, i think he was talking about this season's transfers. But thinking of the whole team, you would be correct in KD. Surprisingly, he is the only one. Still very impressive.
