Donaldson is class of 22.

So is Washington, but found out he is a SG. And it looks like he can score, and started picking up bigger basketball offers like TT, so he is improving, and he also seems to be a very good defender and he has said he likes to feed his teammates so they can score.

I can see why Bruce likes him.

Auburn is supposed to play uab in a closed scrimmage. Nor sure when but I'm curious if any info will leak out

I'm sure it will get out. Hoke did and interview with Bruce and he called this the hardest working team he's had. UAB is very good team to scrimmage against so that should give us a good idea of where the team is at with Flanny out.

Ferg posted some notes from the first day of practice, but it’s behind a paywall: LINK. Anyone with access able to provide a summary?

Nick Smith Jr., #8 overall prospect supposed to announce his commitment tonight.

Down to Auburn, Arkansas, Bama, and UA Pine bluff. Chatter on Twitter is that it's between Au and Arky (he is from Little Rock). Anyone think we got a shot at landing him? Or is he a pig lock?

No, I don't feel it, and nothing is coming out, even remotely that we are one of the CBs.

Looks like his home state school did a good job of keeping him home.

It feels like we were tied for 2nd in this bc of Flanigan's Arkansas connection.

Kinda what I figured. I saw all the CBs in for Arky but saw some Twitter chatter that it was down to us and Arky. Didn't know if his visit hosted by Wes may have enough pull to make a surprise.

Sounds like Zep will play a good bit of the 2 at least until Flannigan gets back.

Interesting it is not Johnson.

Bruce said more of combo guard with how he shoots it and plays defense. Which also means Greene must be playing better at the 1. I had heard he was struggling with the lengthy defense we have at first and frustrated. So could be a plus plus.

I’m sure Johnson will be the primary 2 but Zep will get minutes at both the 1 and 2. Which is good because not sure Cambridge can play long minutes at the 2

Could see Bruce playing Green, Jasper, and Johnson together some too. Especially with how well our 4’s and 5’s should be able to clean up the glass. At least, as long as it makes sense defensively

Really curious to see how he handles minutes for Green and Zep. I’m sure they’ll be out there together a good bit but those two will comprise the vast majority of our minutes at the 1.

Not to be a Debbie downer but lots of highlights of our undersized guards finishing over and around Kessler lol

Moore looks ready to go. Might not be the most talented but bet that kids works his arse off.

I wouldn't worry about Guards finishing around Kessler at the rim. I'm sure it wasn't a full contact practice on the first day. Plus he's not really the shot blocking type just more of affecting shots. Others will be the back door shot blockers.

I only saw a couple and one didn’t show if it actually went in or not. Either way I’d be more concerned if the guards aren’t getting some points around bigs.
