I’m sure if they find someone they’ll take them, but I doubt there is much out there.

Surely we just save the scholarship at this point, right?
Posted on 6/8/21 at 6:17 pm to PubeCrab
Well now we are saving 2. An 11 man roster is fine, but one more G would be nice.

Seven weeks after Arkansas guard Desi Sills announced his plans to transfer to Auburn, he posted on Instagram that he’s “coming home.” He was wearing an Arkansas State jersey, not an Auburn jersey, in the post.
“#Wolvesup,” Sills wrote. Sills is originally from Jonesboro, Ark., which is home to the Arkansas State Wolves.
Auburn coach Bruce Pearl expressed his regrets as well as his understanding of Sills’ decision.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Desi,” Pearl said in a statement. “I love his toughness, and I wish we would’ve had a chance to coach him. It was in Desi’s best interest academically to pursue a different opportunity other than Auburn.”
Sills, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound guard, entered the transfer portal two days after Arkansas’ season ended. He had been the only Razorback to appear in all 98 of Arkansas’s games over the last three years, and he started 47 of them. In the 2020 season, he averaged 7.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
On April 20, Sills announced his intention to join the Tigers. His best games of the 2020 season came against Auburn, and Pearl had stated that Sills was a “fun kid to watch.”
Sills would have added experience to Auburn’s backcourt, which lost Sharife Cooper, Justin Powell and Jamal Johnson after the 2020 season. At the time of his commitment, he joined Eastern Kentucky transfer point guard Wendell Green Jr., College of Charleston transfer guard Zep Jasper and UNC transfer center Walker Kessler. Since Sills’ commitment, Auburn added Georgia transfer guard KD Johnson.

If that happens then I'm also claiming Jalen Green, Jonathan Kuminga, and Davion Mitchell for Auburn and starting a thread on the rant about how Auburn had 5 first round draft picks

You have to consider the source. She does this stuff a lot when she writes or posts strange tweets in her reporting.
'Flips' sounds like he changed his mind, which was not the case. The issues w credits simply made him change his goal, not 'flip'.

Auburn will host five-star junior Chance Westry for an official visit that begins today, he told @Stockrisers. He took his first official visit to Nebraska recently, now is beginning his second with Bruce Pearl and the Tigers.

Yet they’ve got 3 5* players visiting within the month.
That’ll raise an eyebrow

Most journalists don’t decide the headlines. Especially ones recently out of school. Some editor wrote that for clicks.
She’s been one of the better Auburn beat writers for al.com. It’s a low bar, but just my opinion

During an Auburn basketball game she tweeted pictures of people without masks and complained about bars. She’s no better.

Gotcha. Honestly, I kind of forget these people do social media stuff. Just going off some of the stories she’s done on some of the players and general coverage.
Anyway, don’t want to derail the thread.
I’m seeing Thor popping up on draft mocks now that he has hired an agent. I wonder how many of these mocks weren’t considering him until he made it official.

I cannot wait for BB season this year. I hope we gel early as it would be great for a good run. I just have to figure out how to watch the games this year since I cut cable out. Worse case, I can listen to the game online.

Well, sadly the Olympics are screwed (again) no matter what. It's sad. People here have been ready for so long but I think it is like 70-80% of the population oppose holding them under the present conditions, and Japan is so far behind in vaccinations here due to red tape. I think less than 5% of the general population is vaccinated? Other than that and Covid popping up here and there, it's great. Lots of volunteers and venues / hospitals, medical staff have given up. It is forecast to be a hot summer and plenty of cases of heat exhaustion and heat stroke competing for hospital beds.....It's sad for everyone. War Eagle

For the record, Nino hijacked the thread, not me. Thanks Nino, seriously. I don't post much, and even got banned for asking if pissing on citrus trees (like The Last Indian) or in my garden was good for it or certain vegetables. frick if I know - that is why I asked and got banned on tRant for a long time. You'd have thought I was talking bad about Les Miles' wife. Oh wait....
