We offered 2022 4* TWINS Amen Thompson and Ausar Thompson from Fort Lauderdale.

One is 6’6 PG. One is a 6’6 SG.

Just checked Ramone’s Twitter for shits and gigs and he now seems to be backpedaling on his Scoot prediction so his status as an insider continues to be proven legitimate

Ramone is like Lee Corso or Jim Cramer. Their value stops at entertainment.

Former Georgia guard KD Johnson is supposed to announce his decision today.

Be watching for Johnson’s decision today. Lee says his source thinks Auburn gets him.

KD is a big bodied player that can shoot, defend, facilitate, and rebound.

KD would be a really good pickup. He can score and plays extremely hard.

I was impressed with him. He scored 21 against Auburn.

If we signs with us I assume this means that Bruce knows that Scoot is going G League?

More than likely

Disappointing that Auburn has potentially lost out on two top 5 NBA Draft picks to the G League. Would’ve been fun to have Jalen Green and Scoot Henderson. Scoot would elevate this team to top 5 in the country.

I’d argue 3 players. Kuminga was trending toward AU as well.

KD flat gets after it. I was very impressed with him both times we played them. He’s way more than just a Scoot consolation. Very good all around player

How many years can Johnson play, if we get him?

Hopefully it's more than 1, for continuity.

Thanks.

I like his bulldog style, and he is one of those players that can take over a game, as he can get really intense from seeing him play.

Definitely needs to work on his FTs. Not good at all, but he was a freshman, and I think he didn't even get to play until the SEC season started for some reason.

I assume he will play the 2 guard?

So it looks like this at the guard? We have a lot of 6'1" guards now...and interchangeable.

Green, Jasper - PG
Sills, JOhnson - SG

KD and Jasper are very similarly 2 guards who could at least give you average point guard play if needed. They aren’t going to get a lot of assists at PG but can get you into the offense and won’t be turnover machines like Flanigan at PG

agree. Pearl lacked ball handlers.

He definitely made up for it with this group of guards coming in.

It will be interesting how he works the rotation with Sills, Johnson, and Jasper all similar IMO.
