So watching today...how are we feeling about everyone coming back next year? I feel like game to game my sentiments change for some guys (Cooper especially)

It's hard to tell. We don't have anyone that should leave, but Cooper might.

I’ve been high on Cooper’s draft stock but I’ll say this game was very bad for it. Lots of scouting eyes on this one. He’ll have a couple more chances though

He doesn't have a very quick release like Harper did. He's going to have to shoot the 3 so much quicker at the next level. I think he gets drafted in the first 15 picks on potential alone but I wish he'd give us another year in college. We'd be stacked next year.

Honestly absent an injury I don't see any way Cooper comes back next year. (I desperately want to be wrong)

I’m glad Mitchell played well against his former school. Always a feel good moment for the kid.

Screw that. I wish he would have had a Flanigan performance

It didn't really have that feel to me. Was there a single guy on the court today that played with him? That felt like a media created story. It would have been different if he'd of out dueled Harper or something.

His choice to leave was always a head scratcher. He may make the final four this year, but if not it was a dumb decision on his part.

Why in the world would you want an opposing player to have a good game against AU?

Opponent...And former highly regarded player that gave us a chance. Every kid wants to do great against their former school. Situation turned out great for both parties. We didn’t deserve to win tonight so I don’t see what the problem is.

If you noticed, I said former school. In this rare case the school is actually the school we root for. I really see no reason to make an exception here when we have nothing to play for.

We have one PG on the roster and he was out for most of the year. It worked out for Davion and we’ve done alright without him, but we would be better if he’d stayed.

Baylor kept their starters in the entire game, trying to build on their scoring margin or something.

Bruce made the decision to ride with Harper. Attrition happens.

Honestly who knows if we’d have made the Final Four run at all if he hadn’t left. J’von got us past NMSU

And he was huge in the first half of UNC game too. Him and Okeke were our best offense in the first half of that game. I honestly wouldn’t change anything about that 2017 team. There were a few games where Harper got him self in early foul trouble and J’Von was incredible getting downhill and finishing.

Not too mention how clutch he was for us last year. Specifically I’m thinking of the LSU game. I think it worked out for both teams, but it was weird to leave Auburn and then still end ups backup in another team.

In 2018 NCAAT, Mitchell had a nice game when Harper had foul trouble against CoC... IIRC

You're gonna feel like garbage when that ecstasy wears off.
