Let’s not act like they’re special. They lost to WKU at home

That's why Flanigan must stay at the 2 and not move to the 3 if/when Cooper comes.

Why? It's my opinion that moving Flanigan and Powell down to defending the 2 and 3 respectfully makes our defense better. Cooper's not a lock down guy by any stretch but he does have the quickness to stay in front of guys if his technique is solid.

They’re not special at all, but their offense is solely built around driving and kicking to an open three and they’re going to have the night of their lives like always

I missed the game. Did Turbo even play or did Flanigan run the point when Powell was out?

yes they lost but WKU isn't a bad team. Their big is definitely an NBA player and bama had no answer for him.

He may have come in in the final minute when we emptied the bench but he didn't play any meaningful minutes

Wonder if that’s good news for Sharife Cooper...

We don’t have a role that fits his style right now. He’s not a PG that you can run the offense through at our level, but I hope he finds a great opportunity.

Either that or him not really being in the rotation even without Sharife kinda became writing on the wall

Same. Hate it didn’t work out and unfortunately, I called it before our first game, that he would either have very limited minutes or transfer out.

I figured something was up when I didn’t see him in the box score and MCT said he didn’t have any meaningful minutes. Best of luck to him..

Not shocking and hope he finds a team that’s a fit for him. By all accounts he was a good kid. Wish him all the best.

I don’t think he was going to have a role moving forward regardless of Cooper, so I don’t think so..

Pretty much. Good luck to the kid wherever he goes. Should be a win win since it will allow Bruce to recruit another true PG for next year.

His departure actually puts us at our roster cap for next year since we took 2 this year. Wouldn’t be surprised if another player leaves though.

Random thought but I wonder how Myles Parker is doing at AAMU. I know he and Turbo were good friends

Yeah he's a scoring guard but he has to get his own shot. Terrible passer, not a catch & shoot guy. I hope he goes somewhere he can develop & flourish.

Good luck to Turbo. Seemed like he was working hard, but the game at this level was a bit to much for him. I realize he was playing out of position, but his decision making was suspect and it is a sign generally of things moving to fast.
