I can't recall 2 great halves of basketball this season. Maybe the 1st UGA game?

Northridge was probably the only one

We have to hold the record for the only 6 loss team in a major conference to play like absolute shite for like 1/3 of the minutes in this season. It's really pretty amazing.

Multiple games where the first half is a Tier 4 performance followed by a second half top 15 performance.

It's just what happens when you have a team that doesn't really have players with offensive skill. Last year when we needed a bucket Chuma or Jared could go get you one and BP would put them in positions to do so. This year you basically have to hope we eventually make one or hope Samir or Austin can get to the line.

Need to maintain at least a 5. I want no part of 6.

Disappointing end of the regular season indeed.... L’s to TXAM, UGA, Mizzouri should never have happened....

I don’t agree with it feeling like two years ago. This team is still solid and competes.

Have to disagree.

When we were up 12-1(!), it felt like last year. When A&M stormed back to a just as quick 17-16 lead, it felt like two years ago. And the rest of the game was just average. For as much as we competed hard, we played too sloppy just as frequently. I actually expected us to still win no matter what and that stings the most.

That's the thing.. I didn't expect to win at all after A-Mac went down 2 years ago. This team has a chance every time out and I really believe that. Granted, they could lose to anybody on any night as well.

It's a weird team.

We'd have a better chance if we threw 5 guards on the court

I respect your new shtick but no, not with this roster.

Best all guard/wing-ish lineup currently would be:

Jvon
Jamal
Samir
Flanigan
Cambridge/Purifoy

Eh, frick I think you talked me into it..

I would rather see Aubie start logging some minutes than see Danjel jack up another bad 3 or miss a dunk.

There was a better chance of Auburn Arena transforming into a spaceship than him making that last second shot.

I hate to dawg players, but this guy has regressed tremendously since his freshman year. Give all his minutes to Cambridge and Jaylin.

Yes, with this roster.

1 Guard: Jvon
2 Guard: Jamal
3Guard: Samir
4 Guard: Okoro
5 Guard: Flanigan

FIFY.
Give Flanigan game tape of Pj Tucker and AL grown legend Ben Wallace to study and lets ride.

Fast breaks, dunks and bricked 3s. I inject that into my veins.

Will someone give me the latest on Jalen green? Is he still trending to us and when will he announce?

Nothing really new. Some say he’s trending Auburn if he chooses college. Others still say Memphis. With the tweets I saw yesterday about Memphis & the NCAA situation with them it sounds like they’re probably gonna be in hot water. Green is still planning to wait to commit sometime In April. I’m not sure how he feels about auburns NCAA situation but if he doesn’t feel good about it by then my guess is he will choose to go play overseas.

Rebounding is a pretty important aspect of b-ball. We would get killed on the offensive and defensive glass.

Other than a tv blackout I don't think the NCAA stuff scares these loto pick players. They know it's 1 and done and looking for the quickest least resistant path to get there. That's why Penny and his NBA like staff is appealing. I'm sure they pitching connections to all these top recruits.

Well, I hope Lunardi’s bracket doesn’t hold for us. A 6 seed against 11 UCLA, then winner gets Duke and that winner probably Dayton after that? No thanks.

If we keep losing games we will be lucky to have a 6 seed.

Dukes beatable... as is UCLA... and we’ve seen Dayton and Anthony Grant a bunch over the last few years.

I wouldn’t hate that draw tbh... that’s what happens when you lose games to teams you shouldn’t.
