He should be. Literally anything but that would have been better. I was even up for some type of RPO to make the defense make the right read. But can’t believe we called a play that didn’t even involve our best player.

I could’ve even understood using him as a distraction for play action, but we just did a quick jump ball to a 6’1 former QB against one of their best players.

I mean, if the ref’s called the right call, it’s all good. That play on the goal lines is a pretty good chance of either a TD or a PI. I understand Tank’s frustration, but I also understand the playcall

I can rationalize with the best of them, but when you playcall us to draw a PI then it’s a bad playcall. If we were gonna throw a jump ball then put Frazier or another TE out there not a backup WR.

A goalline fade is not a bad call. We have all bitched and moaned for that to be in the playbook for a decade, so don’t back step on it now.
I’m not saying Tank wouldn’t have been a better call, I’m just not upset with the cal made. It had a good outcome. We just got fricked.

Have we though? We did it plenty and it worked with guys like Duke and Seth. Kobe ain’t that guy.

As I said, there may have been other plays that were okay. If the Ref’s called the appropriate call, it is first and goal. Sucks for us they didn’t.

You understand the play call? Why?
He is not our best WR. He is not tall. A corner fade on the 2 yard line is a low percentage pass play.
I don't think a run play to tank would have been the right call either. Their front 7 was not going to let him run it between the tackles(see the AL/FL game).
A pass out to Tank and then he wins it or he doesn't against a DB is our go to guy IMO.
