This is more like you getting her number and accidentally dropping it on the way out lol.

My whole point wasn't that Stidham was great, it was just that he wasn't as bad as the stats said and that those stats needed context. stats don't show drops, so i was just trying to provide some of that context. I never said that Stidham should be given statistical credit for the throws, or anything. I just wanted to illustrate that he was a bit more accurate than the stats led on.

I think we pretty much agree. Just having fun with it all

He deserves better opportunities than trying to clean up someone else’s mess

I wonder why Stidham hasn't "grown" or "developed" any under superior coaching? hmmm

We should give up on Jarrett Stidham, but we shouldn’t give up on Gus Malzahn...

Cool.

Kind of a dumb argument baw. Nobody said Marshall would be a NFL QB.

You know what's a dumb argument? Saying a literal NFL QB isn't an NFL QB...

Yeah, but so did other teams really. We put like 5 or 6 players in the nfl per year in a good year. Other teams do that easily.

You should not give up on Stidham. He still has a chance. He is just not a NFL Qb and its very easy to see. My guess is, Bill will cut him before the years end.

And you can give up on Gus. Nobody cares anymore. He has done plenty of things for that to be his faith.

I think at first, my comments were that he would not ever perform well in the NFL. Somehow it morphed into this.

He is a great guy. I like him and he does have a chance. I just think it is a very small chance. He does not stay in the pocket at all and makes a lot of dumb mistakes.

You guys are really hard on Stidham, and to be so premature.

Look, he was a 4th round pick. Is that NFL starter material? For now, no. It means he has a chance, and he may/may not 'figures it out' all the things a quality NFL QB must display to be a starter.

But he has played in what? Now 2 NFL games. ANd both were not as a starter.
He has thrown 4 times last year in one game.
He has thrown 13 times this year in one game, coming in against the SB champs, on the road, behind in the score.

Listen to CBS' Tony Romo last night. He stated Stidham was mentally going to be shy high, a lot of nerves and so much to digest, having to go in, that it was going to be tough for JS.

Will Stidham make an NFL starter? No idea. But he has to be given a starter's chance to prove it.

HE might just go the way AJ McCarron went.
