The test will be the start of Baseball, Golf and NASCAR. All will have fans within a few weeks of their start dates. Campuses will be full. Remember, kids are not the problem ...The over 60 Alumni are the most vulnerable. Masks and beyond that

Got a solution ...NYC is complaining that they have too many unused test kits.

Can Cuomo get anything right?

Each SEC Stadium. Tents around the stadium. Prior to getting cranked up at your tailgate. Visit a tent and get tested. After 15 minues, while chocking down your last hamburger ...go pick up your result. OK, you get a scorecard. At the gate, those with a negative test result and their ticket gets in....end of the 10,000 seat capacity joke.

Besides ...the SEC takes care of all those unused test kits stored in a warehouse in New Jersey.

How about sell tickets to those who want to come to the games. If you don't want to go then don't go. If you do go and you get sick it was your decision.

I would go.

I just wonder what will happen if a football player tests positive this fall? Will the whole team have to forfeit a game?

I was talking to someone about this last week, I think "social distanced" stadium seating would be running at 5-10% capacity. You have to figure roughly ever 5th seat on a row and every third row.

They might allow families to sit together.

The student body does not need mitigation.

Or just put zinc and hydroxychloroquine in the water.

There is a pro soccer team that intends to seat Asian Sex Dolls in the stands. They will be programmed to cheer, wave, clap hands ... It also gives the winner something to do after the game.

Simple fix. Take temperature going into the stadium. Those running a fever get turned away.

Allow students in and extend student section in lower bowl (on visitor’s side) and upper deck. Also let the band in. Then give scholarship donors their boxes and seats on AU side.

Iowa State will only allow season ticket holders at their home games. That social distancing strategy may stick around the country.

That may work for them, but that won't work in the SEC. Season tickets are typically all but the mandated visitor allotment aren't they?

So in AU's case, something north of 70,000 seats are season tickets, the rest being students and visitor allotments.

I don’t have input into the decision.

Personally, I think people should manage their own risk.

I usually go to a game or two a year, but I’ve gotten older so this year I may not go to a game unless it’s the SEC championship.

I wonder if they will limit student tickets this year.

This would be the year to have as many students as possible go to the games.

Maybe young alumni as well.

Maybe do a temp check on your way in. If you have a fever, no admittance.

Otherwise, let people manage their own risk.

WHO says spread of corona by asymptomatic carriers is “very rare.“

Build a device that can quickly and effectively shoot lasers checking for fevers as patrons file through the entrance and and let’s have full capacity. Did we give up after Germany bombed Pearl Harbor!! Let’s do this.
