It was more of sarcasm based on the last coaching staff being all their friends or at least reports as such.

I love how JGT still puts this in his practice observations just to stir up a riot on the bunker.

Kiehl Frazier played first-team QB, and Jonathan Wallace was second team. I'd be surprised if that's not how it looked Saturday.

During off-def pace drills, WR Sammie Coates got behind safety T.J. Davis and caught a pass that would've been a TD from Jonathan Wallace.

Everytime you hear people from the team or who observed practice talk about KF vs JW, they all say JW has better management of the team and huddle, JW is more accurate on short and midrange passes, JW makes better decisions.
Not saying in anyway that JWall should start, just that everyone makes it sound like he is head and shoulders above the Mocha Nightmare. Yet KF always comes out.
frick Gus and his Arkansas prior existing relationship bias right now

Can we not trust Gus to start the QB he thinks gives us the best chance to win?
The rumor was that Gene forced Mosely on Gus, when Gus wanted to stick with Trotter and Gene wanted to slow things down. I pray that was true as Mosely was Terrible, the worse QB I ever remember at Auburn. Never did anything...

Not so sure about that. Nick Marshall is the only one who may start besides one of them IMO. I highly doubt JJ shows up this fall and wins the job as a true freshman. Very very doubtful.
I am hoping it is Nick though. He is a playmaker for sure, but Gus is going to have to improve his accuracy and decision making in a HURRY to make it happen.
Wallace could end up being the guy against WSU.

By all accounts, Frazier has already beat out Wallace.

One would have to assume he's alluding to his completion percentage and INT to TD ratio during his time as a QB in JUCO.

Pretty sure Jay Tate said yesterday he thinks Wallace would start over Frazier.

It would seem that way from the split of reps. I've heard from different people that Wallace seems like he is doing a better job than Frazier. Who knows what the coaches are looking for
Frazier has been described as timid and soft spoken to me. That just isn't what I want as a QB
I hope Nick Marshall can figure things out and quick. I wouldn't mind JJ but I know true FR succeding at QB is like seeing Haley's comet. Once in a lifetime

you guys are taking extremely limited and more than likely bias information and making broad generalizations... to think that guys like Malzahn and Lashlee whould show favoratism when selecting a QB, knowing their livelihood and that of the other coaches is on the line is, pretty crazy, IMO.
People need to let it play out... we're five months away from needing a starting QB... two of the guys who will compete aren't even on campus yet.

Reminds me of Jason Campbell's personality and I pray that he improves to get anywhere near that level of play.
As a starter he had a different offensive coordinator every year, finally finding success in his senior year when he led the Tigers to an undefeated season in 2004 and was named the SEC Player of the Year and MVP of the SEC Championship Game.

Explain
Guy was an int machine in JUCO. In the SEC he will have even tighter windows to throw into. If his accuracy and decision making is not drastically improved, he will not be an SEC QB.

As it has been stressed countless times, his JUCO team sucked balls and it wasn't uncommon for them to give up around 80 points... in one game... to other JUCO teams. Their defense averaged giving up like 49 points or something like that. He was constantly put in bad situations where he had no choice but to sling it around.

Sling it around all you want. The fact you throw just as many ints as tds means there is a problem regardless. Also, from scouting reports I have read on him, he is too quick to tuck and run, careless with throwing into coverage and needs to improve his accuracy.
As I said.

Apparently not quick enough since he is such an INT machine
