Between Easter weekend, Master’s weekend, and what’s supposed to be a rainy weekend I doubt we end up driving down.

I really wish we would get away from having it this weekend. It has been this way the past few years.

Yep, it's a bad weekend imo

In Freeze's presser yesterday. He expressed that the offense on Saturday may not be the offense in the fall. Not sure if that was an indication of a QB change or just running a scheme that is just random football plays. Even said we may even huddle at times which we probably won't in the fall.
The scoring will be the defense is "spotted" a certain number of points. He referenced 24 at the beginning of spring possibly being the goal number. I hope the number is 25. He didn't say if there would be a certain time of play or number of plays but I would expect number of plays to be around 65ish. Probably 25-30 for 1st team, 20ish for 2nd, the rest backups.
Freeze continues to beat the drum for a exhibition game in the spring and suggested UAB, Troy, Alabama State and donating proceeds to charity. I would rather see a 3 team jamboree style where all 3 teams plays 1 half against the other 2 teams. Maybe no scouting or prepping for the other team, no blitz, no trick plays etc. I think the scrimmage is a great idea.

That’d be awesome

Anyone watch the practice videos from yesterday? There were more dropped balls than bad throws from the QBs. Gonna need some WR help.

Yes I saw some dropped balls and some plays that didn’t show much effort on poorly thrown balls, I also say Holden, TJ, and then Ashford in that order throwing catchable balls. Ashford sailed many sit down and post routes. Easy pickin’s for the DBs in a game. Saw an overthrow from TJ on a RPO route. Holden was throwing a little behind a could guys on the post route

You didn’t see the same videos I did then. It was almost reverse your order: Ashford, Holden, and then TJ. And TJ was not even close on the simulation pressure passes.

You will need the ESPN app to access ESPN+ or SECN+ to watch the A-Day game

I feel like someone did a youtube stream of it last year (not someone here, just some fan)

I can’t go into too much detail. I will say that YouTube is your friend…I don’t want to be sharing a jail cell with the meme guy.

From Freeze presser it sounds like he and Corch saw the same qbs and you still have on those Ashford glasses Jville.
He was Geriner threw some long passes some "crowd pleasers" this week in practice. Did say he needed to settle down in the pocket.
More time with ones and he walks away with this, though still not enough to make anyone comfortable.
Got to be someone to plug and play for a year though, does us no good to get a 5 star that is currently sitting on the bench somewhere. Anyone been working on that tutor for McCall?

Sounds like you have on those Holden glasses and headphones. Btw, Ashford has been taking the 1st team snaps again this week. I guess we’ll find out who’s right or wrong come the fall, if a stud QB doesn’t transfer in. I’ll keep my stance that the other 2 QBs are not blowing the coaches away with their passing compared to Ashford, and they don’t even come close to his running threat.
