Cant say I disagree with you. We didn't see much 12 personnel at all against Ga State. Thought we could have went 12 an hit them on the edges with our running backs.

I've said since Bo has been on campus in any Big game. he should run 8-12 times a game whether it be designed run, Read option, or RPO. Even if you misread the RPO you don't have to panic just follow the running back into that hole and he can block.

LSU I think has 15 sacks on the season

Yeah, but a majority came against McNeese State.

I've watched way better Auburn teams roll into DV against way worse LSU teams and find a way to win. I'm not sure this team has what it needs to be the team to break the streak.

But...if we commit to the run, set up the screen game to keep the LBs honest. D backs don't blow assignments, maybe we can scratch out a win.

LSU's defense is really bad. They have no running game. Our defense is good, if we run the right scheme. We have the best trio of running backs in the nation.

We can win Saturday.

Performance varies.

Not if Bo is starting. :)

I kinda agree on the RPOs with Bo, but from my memory of Bobo offenses, does he even use the RPO much? I remember those GA offenses, he usually had a drop back passer, that was not the greatest mobile or running type of QB.
Bot sure what Harsin had his QBs do at Boise, but not sure if he used any RPO plays.

We have tank and hunter and they dont. If Bobo will make it about them and not our qb I think we can win. We also have Carlson

They can't run the ball, we can, and we're good against the run sans "Whitey and the Run Fits" last weekend. We're still giving up only 99 per game.

We'll need +1 in TO's, plus maybe a "flip the field" play on specisl teams. That's not a tall ask.

I can buy what some are saying. Hope our 10k fans go down there and smack it up. Rowdy yet tasteful and we kick their arse. My official prediction was 30-25. Listening to the faith in has me thinking maybe a couple turnovers and playing some field position at times a d we can possibly pull it 23-20. War Eagle boys! Let’s blow out Tiger stadium!

i read a day or two ago some running back they were counting on will not be allowed to play. not sure if he was playing this season or not but from what i understand their running game is awful.it is a tough environment but we should have a slight advantage. but we need better play from our own qb's to win.

Maybe try the opposite approach. Maybe you should convince us why we won't win using your criteria. That would be interesting to hear.

Consider this

Your Savior's record

TJ 2-3 record at LSU One of those loses a blowout against Auburn.

5 TDs

5 Interceptions

5 Games 953 yards passing ......

Start TJ. I just might find a baseball game to watch. Or maybe the fishing channel.

I feel confident in one thing. If Harsin and Bobo think Finley gives them the best chance to win, he's the starter. As a fan I can look at prior results I suppose and come to the conclusion that Bo Nix should be starting. But honestly I have no idea. Maybe something clicked with Finley in practice this week and he's going to become Marino or Fouts moving forward?

I think Nix will be the guy and we'll run him a bunch more. I could see Finley getting a series or two. But I'm exposed to the same samples as you are just being a fan.

Will say that since the majority of the board and many talking heads think LSU running game is stagnate...

If Armoni Goodwin rips off some big runs the TV at my house might not make it. And I'm not that type of guy.

Unless McClain and Pappoe miss the game, I’m not worried about their running game. If both of them are out, LSU’s walk-on slow, white RB might rip off some big runs.

Has anyone here described TJ as anything other than "different, possibly better (or worse) than Bo"?

This strawman "Savior" shite is getting old.
