Freeze mentioned during his press conference today that he’s been receiving calls from coaches who are interested in coming to AU and that Jimmy Sexton is putting people in front of him too.

Wonder who all is on Sexton’s roster of clients and how that could play into our staff.

From Sexton’s POV, gotta think he’d want any of his guys who aren’t already at one of the top 10 programs in country at AU because it means more money and more visibility (leading to better jobs which in turn helps him line his pockets).

A large majority of coaches are Sexton clients.

At one point he was the agent for 11 of the 14 SEC Head Coaches.

I still don’t understand the obsession with talking about him

Like I said in OP trying to figure out who’s on his roster might indicate potential hires. Not talking employed HC’s but unemployed head coaches and OC level folks.

You are not going to be able to narrow it down based on that. The 11 of 14 HCs was a stat to make it clear how large his client base is.

It’s not just SEC only or coaches only. He represents NFL players, NBA players, Assistant coaches, everything.

Are high school or portal kids now allowed to use agents?

Just curious.

I read an article today saying that he made $31M in commissions in 2020 alone

I’ve wondered about his overall net worth. Has to be way up there.

They will continue to grow too. The best advertisement for Sexton is Jimbo Fisher.

Not too shabby when you get to take 10% off the top.

I read up on him some the other day and I didn't realize that he and Pat Dye Jr had a pretty intense lawsuit over an agency they formed together. That's probably why Sexton loves sticking it to Auburn every chance he gets.
