Honestly, Lashlee would be doing better than what we have, especially on offense.

Should have been let go when we played Memphis in a bowl game. Everyone goes out with a win.

Can't change the past, only the future, Gus needed to be gone, but only if we had the top 100 coaches, and called them one-by-one to say no. Baws have already said it, Brian who? Maybe # 30 on that list.

(unrelated, but getting bama and some chicken farm employee stuff out to the right of my screen)

I liked Lashlee and always thought he did a fine job.

I was pissed when Gus turned on him.

The only thing I'd give Gus credit for is having the grapes to go eat Waffle House during his last season

Malzahn should have never been given a 100% guaranteed contract because of 1 fricking season

We shouldn't have kept Malzahn but the extension was overzealous and we should have had a better plan in place on finding his replacement.

Lol. Malzahn should’ve been gone in 2017.

This stems from the board hiring leath, leath hiring Greene, Greene hiring harsin.

Our BOT have caused this shite.

Shout this from the rafters!! Most honest and concise post I have read!

It’s a great example of how one really shitty decision has ramifications for years (hiring Leath).

Uh Gus had us playing for a Natty in one year and was one injury away from playing for another one in 2017. That UGa beat down at home was the best game I’ve ever attended against UGa. Curb stomped the #1 team, then curb stomped Bama two weeks later and predicted it. An idiot would have fired him after that. You can argue the contract was too good, but geeze man that was a strong finish. Never should have fired him after the CoVid season. That was total dumbassery. He may have continued to wet the bed but at least it would have been a real season without all the ‘Covid rules’. Firing anyone after 2020 - sooo dumb for so many reasons

Gus was fired for not recruiting or developing a decent offensive line.

Harsin is being fired for basically the same thing.

Gus was fired for developing an average SEC program.

Harsin will be fired for developing an awful SEC program. He’s about to be the only AU HC in over 70 years to have back-back losing records.

The OL thing is only a contributing factor.
