There was a tweet from a players mother. I don't know if it's the source of the optimism or confirmation of the rumor but she said good news was coming. She didn't go any further into detail

Hope Powell is cleared too. I’m not expecting a lot from Sharife, but it will be nice to have him since I fully expects bama to press and put pressure on the ball.
