Top 4 seeds get a double bye. We are sitting at 2, but several teams have a shot with 3 games left to play (some teams have 4). Two of our last 3 are on the road, including at KY and UT.
Who do we need to be pulling for/against down this stretch?

If you are going to the Auburn tournament games, you need to be pulling for Auburn to get the 2 or the 3 for affordability. I know that's the case with me.

LSU beating Florida tonight would go a long way towards that.

Cheer for LSU tonight if you care at all about us winning the regular season.

We need to beat Kentucky and then Kentucky to lose to either Florida or tenn in order to win. Preferably we win out and they lose out from here which is unlikely.

We'd have to win out for a shot at that happening, so Florida is not a threat in that regard.

I’m not as concerned about winning the season as I am finishing in the top 4 to get a double bye.
The way we play on the road makes me less than optimistic about KY and UT

With the tie breaker against MSU and SC we are pretty much guaranteed a double bye. LSU tards make it hard to like LSU so frickem I sez. Go Gata

Us winning the season has sailed. It will be a miracle if we win Saturday........which would still leave us a game behind.

calling it a miracle is a little but of a stretch considering we’ve been competitive more often than not against UK in the last couple years.

Improbable? Sure. Miracle? Hardly.

I saw on Twitter earlier that the magic number to clinch the #4 seed is 1. I think it is 2 to clinch the #3, and 3 to get the #2 seed.

The only reason they crushed us there last year is because PJ Washington inexplicably hit like 5 first half threes and it completely broke us and our game plan. It was over before it started.

The last couple of years has no bearing on this team. This team is a poor shooting team that is horrible on the road.

7-2 on the road/nuetral with Okoro. This team is best with its back against the wall which will be the case from the tip Saturday and we know it.

I think we will surprise you.

We want to avoid the 4 seed in the SEC tourney.

Kentucky is much better than the rest of the SEC right now.

I want to be the 2 or 3 seed to avoid Kentucky until Sunday.

This. With LSU playing Florida tonight it increases our chances of being at least the three seed no matter who wins. Florida has the tougher schedule left so I’m pulling for them tonight and then hopefully LSU will lose at Arkansas later so we could get the two seed even if we lose at Kentucky and Tennessee.Counting tonight’s game against each other LSU has 2 quart one games left and two quad three games left. Florida has three quad one games left and one quad two game left

If UK is the "cream of the crop" why does it matter when we play them? One could easily argue its easier to upset a team in the semi final game than the finals.

Gives us a chance to rack up more wins for NCAA seeding?

That's the only thing I can think of...not sure why we wouldn't just want to beat UK? Seems like we are capable.
