When the year starts up, people start emerging from the wilderness to join the board, trolls start applying for the board under alters, recruiting picks up, discussion about a new coaching staffs peformance
This will be a whole another animal come the fall. I'd imagine it was hard to keep up with during the coaching search.
This is all under the premise he wants help though

I'd love to help too, I "work" 12 hour shifts, I'm always on here. I may not always post but I'm always lurking.

If we do allow Alabama posters on this board, or if it just flat out gets too busy for me to handle (it's pretty tame for the most part right now) then I have a short list of guys I think would make good second or third admins of the board that I'll run by Chicken.

You posted that you wanted info from "all sides". That's what you get on the SECRB.
That may be so, but they are currently not providing the input you are seeking. That makes my point just as valid. However you want to spin it, the board has operated to allow Auburn posters to interact with each other without other fan bases having a presence on the board. Allowing a handful of posters from another fan base gives that fanbase a presence on the board.
If you want a perspective on a recruitment of someone, the recruiting board is at your disposal. If you don't want everyone's opinion then don't read everyone's opinion. There is no point in recreating what we 1) already have and 2) already had when there are obviously so many opposed to it.
I encourage you to avoid nitpicking this post and instead reply constructively.

If we do add additional admins, you can pull the list of who post here regularly. Just make sure they don't go on rants, and get banned 2-3 times a year.

Ross - any new admins should have, at a minimum, 3-4 years under their belt, as a member of this website. There's a couple of OG's that could help you out. Some of these noobies don't understand what it was like before team boards were created.

Yeah we can't really have our board admins be a risk to get banned.
Veteran guys with a good track record that will be active and that people who frequent the board like and are familiar with are the people I'd be looking for, and I've got a few in mind.
But we don't really need more admins at this moment. It might change if we open the door to more fans or during football season when activity picks up.

My major point of contention on this issue is that the space to have universal opinions already exists. It exists for football and recruiting discussions.
This board has operated as an exclusive area for Auburn posters to interact without other fan groups and should continue to do so. The experience of this board should not change because of people's frustration with other boards. That's no-no and you guys know it.
