He has to. We are paying him $500k a year right now. That is about $10,000 a week, so he better be doing something, not sitting on his arse waiting for his agent and attorneys to figure out how to get him to the Cowboys.

fwiw, Phillip Marshall said he signed a letter of agreement(not a contract) for 500k and there's a "hefty" buyout.

Now, there may be an intention by all parties to enter into a more detailed contract, but that there "letter of agreement" is also a contract.
However, what kind of working relationship will there be if we force a guy to stay due to a "hefty" buyout.
