This board would need someone fired immediately following that loss. I venture to say, Saban would have never been granted full control at Auburn and wouldn't have had the same success. Bama was nearly Tennessee-level disaster before they granted autonomy to Saban.

What was Kiffins record last year? 4-5 regular season, did win the bowl game to go 5-5.
0-2 vs Auburn.
In his second year his recruiting is behind Auburn.
Having said all that, wish we coud have hired him, but not sure he would have left Ole Miss after one year.

The Lane train would probably work af Auburn but I’ll never be okay with needlessly going for 4th down at his own 35 yard line. He can shove statistics up his arse. I was a huge Lane fan when Saban kept him on a leash
