It relied way too much on one player and eventually ran him into the ground.

Because Pettway was suspended, then came back and had a monster game vs Arky but broke his collarbone.
If he plays the entire season, we're the champs.

Yep. The thing with Marshall, beyond his just athletic ability, was he was uncommonly good at making the right read on the zone read. Like absurdly accurate. I remember someone doing an analysis on it in 2013 and he was like in the 90% range. The next highest was like 72% or something like that. It was insane. That 2013/14 offense was definitely one of the most fun to watch, but almost impossible to recreate.
What we did to Mizzou in the SECCG was a clinic.

These are d1 athletes they can be versatile, if you've got good match-ups with the defense why overthink it

This. I’m far from a Gus defender but he didn’t “run Kerryon into the ground” by choice.

With Kam and his flakiness and injury we had that problem solved. He went down and BAM, suddenly a strength became a weakness.

Interestingly that was the first time since the 2013 season that I have seen one frame of the FSU game. Complete heartbreak.
