Tennessee fans miss Ghoulish because he is associated with the extreme highs of Tennessee's offensive productivity.

So while we fall on our swords maybe give thought to maybe Ghoulish still has it in him. Maybe!

Here is what we know:
-The OL causes problems across the board for the offense.
- Byrum is not a good QB as a 5th year senior.
-Continuity has not worked. Some of the USF dudes are good but most are not. I dont see proof of concept paying big dividends on the recruiting front.
- We are not firing Golesh or Brown anytime soon.
-Golesh is not Cignetti. The discipline talk is just talk. Fielding the punt at the 5 over and over is mind boggling.
- Defense shite their pants in the second half.

What I think:
-Golesh is not good at game management.
-Golesh knew this season would be bad. He knows the SEC too well to know the roster he assembled wasn't going to cut it.

I haven’t seen those “21/22 UTenn offensive play calls this season. All I’m seeing is Malzahn-esque play calls.

Make it make sense…

I’m not seeing the WR’s line up outside the numbers and spread out.

I’m not seeing choice routes on how the DB’s are playing them.

I’m not seeing horizontal spacing to help the run game..

Maybe we could hire ol'men by their number of plays.

OL run blocking sucks. No argument. But just like with JA, they are getting a bum wrap on pass blocking because we have a QB that holds the ball longer than any other QB. A bad QB makes an OL look bad.

Maybe because we have little in the way of open receivers because teams know we can't run and they can get consistent pressure without blitzing. Also, when the qb rightfully has no confidence in the line it's only human to be jumpy in the problem and unwilling to let routes develop. It's not like we have receiving talent to throw up any 50/50s balls. I'm not saying our quarterbacks, outside of bo, have been the answer but none of them have been put in any position to have success

Why haven’t we been able to fix the OL problem then? It’s been years and different coaches. Golesh knew it wasn’t great but he brings in his gang and it’s not good either. So when can we blame the coach for this?

Oh I'm totally fine on blaming the coach, I'm just saying Brown isn't great but nobody would be in his situation.

That fourth and one was dumb. Still too close of a game and too much time on the clock being deep on their side of the field. Punt and play field position ball.

Their RB gashed us like UF's did.

Our first TD is proof Byrum is overcoming lot of our OL problems.

However he missed a ton of easy passes too.

There is a flash of superman in him on some plays but I would rather see some consistency with short throws.

Some of his throws are completed but he's still not allowing the receivers to catch and run.

So Byrum is kinda absolved from being the problem but he is also not helping himself out

The fourth and one decision was fine to me. I think Byrum could have gotten the first himself.

His play call was bad. If he knows ball like I think he does he stops the Wednesday pre-scripted play and reverts to QB sneak.

Cobb wasnt a factor the whole game. Lateral tosses negate our only advantage. Dont ask the OL to block a run that was tossed 5 yards behind the LOS.

I think he could have been more strategic with our last drive.

I also think the fake punt on the 36 in the first game that was obvious to everyone in America that a fake was susceptible raised a red flag.

I'm proud of you jang, you've shown a lot of growth and maturity here lately. I do miss your petulant battles with chex and his alters though
