Over.

However, Coach Harsin probably has lists of coaches for key positions.

If he keeps Steele, it’s because he was on that list.

Some of the position guys may get a shot, but the coordinators will likely have a big say on anybody who gets to stay.

McGriff and Caddy get a shot.
So 2.

I see Caddy Williams as a really interesting situation.

First, Most coaches don't bring with them running back coaches and OC doesn't usually coach RBs. The role is often given to recruiters

Most importantly though, Caddy isn't really tied to Gus like say Kodi is. Hard to see us replacing Cadilac Williams' recruiting for $325k

Over/Under at 2.5, I've got him keeping Caddy and Twill.

I don’t understand why people think Caddy stays but Twill doesn’t

Twill has more experience and has proven he can recruit (something Harsin needs).

Nothing against Caddy. But looking at resumes and not what he did as a player, he’d be one of the first to go.

TWill probably gets a DC job, which I doubt Harsin will offer him.

McGriff

Why do people think McGriff has a shot?

I think Kodi has more of a chance than people realize. There is a disconnect between how AU fans see him and his actual value. I think Lashlee gets a HC job somewhere though and brings in Kodi assuming they get along

Way over. All defensive staff except McGriff remain. Offense is completely replaced

McGriff has more experience than just about everyone else on staff and is elite recruiter.

That's a bold prediction. Find it really hard to see Garner, Steele or TWill staying

Is he that elite of a recruiter? I have no doubt he's solid but not sure he is "elite"

What is his actual value? We more or less jumped the shark and elevated him into a top-tier position without him proving anything. He had one year at Samford coaching RB's and one year at Middle Tennessee coaching WR's. Arizona State had hired him to coach RB's before we brought him here to consolidate Malzahn's offense in what was obviously a nepotism hire.

Kodi Burns is "okay", but I can't imagine that he's done anything to impress a seasoned offensive HC like Harsin who likely already has his own list of guys that he'd want coaching receivers. Kodi Burns isn't a good enough recruiter either to solidify himself as a holdover on the new staff. I guess he has a chance, but I'd be very surprised if Harsin kept him here.

I'm hoping for zero retained. Clean break from the Malzahn era.

Yeah I’ll also pass.

Twill is promising but I’d like our DC to have experience in that role. I have no idea about T Will from an X and O perspective
