We're still very far out, but this is where the GFS has the hurricane that is right now entering the Caribbean on the day of Auburn/LSU...hitting between Mobile and Pensacola and then moving inland

Still a ton of time left for it to go anywhere on the Gulf Coast but something to monitor

Yuck, if that played out like the map shows, that would put Auburn on the bad side of the storm. Hope that sucker goes somewhere else.

Hurricane Opal hit us pretty directly in 95 if I remember. Classes canceled and a lot of people lost power for at least a few days

Way too far out to know anything but that would be typical for this rivalry

04 game nearly got delayed because of Hurricane Ivan. Gameday was supposed to come for that game and ended up cancelling because they couldn't set up due to the storm.

I remember that well. We stayed in town when many bolted for ATL/Bham. Threw a big ole hurricane party.

The old CVD Extension had a building take a pinetree through the roof.

I also want to say there was a football game scheduled that night for an ESPN Thursday game, and it ended up getting moved back to Saturday.

GFS is an outlier. Ensemble say the most likely path hooks it through the peninsula and up the Atlantic coast.

I saw on the newest ensemble that, in black sharpie, Alabama was going to get clipped.

I was in the 6th grade and we were without power for almost a week I believe. We had to listen to the game on a radio and remember being outside and going nuts when we won.

Whipper snapper. What about hurricane Opal in '95? They did cancel that game and ESPN posted a note on the outside of the stadium stating that they were leaving. Auburn lost power for about a week. There were some amazing events that unfolded that evening........

In 1988 we had the earthquake game with LSU. In 2022, I guess we'll have the "hurricane game?"
