I’d rather Calzada stick around while we explore options.
It’s not like If Caleb Williams is coming here, we’re going to tell him no thanks we got Calzada.
Plus our options are dwindling.

I'm nonplussed about Calzada
We need a warm body who isn't horrendous to compete with the other guys on the roster and who can slot in to keep us on track for a 6-8 win season next year. He probably fits that.
There aren't a lot of realistic options outstanding. I'd probably prefer the Texas kid, however, as he seems pretty comparable to Bo.
Of note, I think both are ranked ahead of Bo by 247.

Tells me that Auburn boosters not willing to play with the big boys in the NIL game. We will always be a tier 2 program if they don't collectively step-up.

Yep. There were 15 better QBs available this cycle, and we chose Calzone. We aren't going to be competing for the SEC anytime soon.
