Air Noland was Ohio State's 4th or 5th string QB. Blah blah blah Arnold struggled and isn't coming in as a world beater. He is still miles ahead of Noland.
You talk as if 4th/5th string QB's are beating out #1 guys for starting jobs left, right and center every offseason. How often does that actually happen for a scout team QB in one offseason? You need to remember that Arnold was Dillon Gabriel's backup in his true freshman season. He actually played games and started the Bowl game once Gabriel left for Oregon. Noland and White were 4th/5th string guys as true freshmen. There is a huge gap there.
If Noland was actually likely to beat out Jackson Arnold next season, why couldn't he at least beat out Devin Brown at OSU? Brown is transferring out himself and never did anything at OSU.

You have a point 25 you certainly have a point. I know he didnt play a full year as a senior but his junior year, playing in 7A in Georgia

I would love to have Air Noland. My point was from his perspective, he could go to a school where the starter will be a senior next year and they need someone for the following year, and no strong bench.
I agree with you, Id love to have three very good prospects at the same time, I just dont see it happening in this new portal age.

I’m glad to have Arnold in the fold, but you are really overhyping a kid that was benched for part of the season last year.

Dawg. You are hyping OSU's 5th string QB as if he is going to come here and win the job. Do you know how depth charts work? Ohio State does not have 5 QB's who are better than Jackson Arnold.
Try answering the damn question: if you expect Noland to outplay Arnold and beat him for the job; why couldn't he beat out Devin Brown at OSU to at least be Will Howard's backup? Why was he 5th string LOL? Devin Brown is considerably worse than Arnold.

He may or may not, but we’re going to bring in competition for Arnold. Freeze can’t afford another portal bust like PT, and the money is there.

We are still going to add one more I believe.
Daniels won’t be on campus until the summer and going through spring with only Deuce and Arnold isn’t ideal.
