He said three when he got here. Looking at the roster numbers, BCR, and experience, that looks about right. The only people moving the bar are message board fanatics and whiners.

I'll accept it once he starts winning while abandoning the run in the second half of games. Until then I'm with Lanier. Hugh has got to get better at this part of his job.

Or at least hire a true OC and let him call the plays.

Somewhere in the middle of all those big words.....

No, I just dont get all giddy over every little thing and let my emotions get the better of me when it comes to Auburn football. History has taught me a lot. And so has watching the actual games and what happens.

I will let you know when I am ready to buy my tickets to Miami. Save me a seat anyway.

Well there is definitely a difference between being giddy and just optimistic. A little hope never hurt anyone.

"a little hope"?

Come on bagman. You know that is not true on here.

You have to be full nega or full tard. We are a board divided....

It still really falls on the OLine and QB playing well. If that or play calling doesn't improve then we will be looking for a new HC and all this talent will be jumping ship.

Truth. Go back and look. Anytime Auburn has had a great season their OL.was good/special.

I am in this camp. The game planning/play calling has been infuriating at times. He is recruiting on a new level. That is fantastic. That alone does not win games.

Keep watching the CFP and it will become clear that it does in a vast majority of games. There gonna be bigger blowouts this next round than the first.

The crazy part is he didn’t seem to say the same things about Malzahn.

The things that make you go hmmm ??

I am just going along with the reason we got rid of Malzahn. I was on board with it. We cant go along just winning 8 games a year and losing to our rivals. Plus Offensive line recruiting.

We have blown through about 50 million dollars to fix those issues. I just want it to be worth it.

And Gus was not a terrible game day coach. And did not lose every meaningful game. So the two are not the same right now. Just wanting and expecting two hires later, we can achieve what we started out to achieve. That is the measure of change

Anyway, I still don’t understand why we chose the UCONN rb from Maryland over Hardy or home state guy Bothwell who would have gone to Auburn had we shown interest.

I literally see him all the time and sold him a Sony VR2 yesterday. We talked about his trip to Oxford this past weekend.

I love our transfer class, but this is one position I think we totally whiffed on and will never understand.

Out of sight, out of mind huh?

Did you forget his plays already? Run, run, pass punt? Our fans could call what was about to happen.

Or the 2nd half non adjustments?

Gus blew a lot of meaningful games. 2017 SEC Championship was one of those..
