Golesh runs Heupel's offense. Jang is trying to argue that he won't be able to sell QB's or WR's signing here because the offense, but yet Tennessee has literally signed 2 of the highest rated HS QB's on the planet over a 4 year stretch.

They didnt sign because of draftability. Draft ability is a knock.

I love it when you go full homer and I knock you down a peg, too.

Also, I hear the Tennessee system doesn't translate to the NFL for WR talk too. But Tennessee has had 4 WR draft picks in 4 years. 3 while Golesh was OC.

Velus Jones Jr. - Drafted 3rd Round, #71 Overall, 14th WR taken.
Jalin Hyatt - Drafted 3rd Round, #73 Overall, 10th WR taken.
Cedric Tillman - Drafted 3rd Round, #74 Overall, 11th WR taken.
Dont'e Thornton - Drafted 4th Round, #108 Overall, 16th WR taken.

Chris Brazzell II - Projected as late 1st round, early 2nd round pick.

Bro you said Golesh was gonna have a hard time recruiting qbs and wrs. Don't be fricking dense and act like we cant hit the back button a time or two and see what you said before you started moving the goalposts.

Ok, so then clearly the offensive system isn't a limiting factor here lol.

why dont you wait and see how he does for a full recruiting cycle before you pass judgement on his ability to recruit QBs and WRs

youve got a hardon against Golesh and i’m not really sure why, considering our realistic alternatives were Sumrall and Durkin

So has everyone else. You think we got Deuce Knight on a budget deal to flip from Notre Dame?

Bro I expect NiL to pony up for some top 15 QB. That still doesnt mean what I said isnt true.

I hate gimmicky offense. Why cant we just be normal? We had a hard time recruiting elite WRs in the Gus offense over similar issues

I remember Jaylin being criticized for his route running ability coming out of college and the offense should take partial blame..... but so many receivers come from systems that don't translate to the NFL, but still find success. Darius Slayton Has 4000+ yard coming from a Malzhan system that ALSO didn't do receivers favors for the same Giants team. Maybe it's Hyatt's fault and not Golesh that he's failed.

Slayton has come a long way but part of that was being willing to take pay check cuts while working on his craft.

Why would I give a shite if they "break through in the NFL" or not?

Tennessee is about to produce their 4th WR that will be drafted 3rd round or higher. Those are high draft picks, which means that Tennessee's offense clearly did enough for them. At that point, it is up to the player himself to figure out how to succeed in the NFL. Darius Slayton was a 5th round picks and he is still a contributing NFL receiver.

If the NFL had an actual problem with this offensive system, then those guys would have gone UNDRAFTED or been late round garbage picks. Tennessee clearly hasn't had any problems selling offensive players on their system, as they continue to sign there.

Dude, if Golesh's offense is producing 1,000 yard receivers that "ONLY" get drafted in the 2nd/3rd round and ultimately fail in the NFL, I will be a happy camper. What, you would rather watch Cam Coleman put up 600-700 yards but present the "ability" to be a 1st round pick?

Then what you said was a moot point and a waste of breath and energy.

You really watched that one video breaking down the offense and decided you had it all figured out. Your schtick as the optimism police is fricking tired dude.

So now we’re saying Golesh runs a gimmick offense? Why is that? What is ‘gimmick’ about it. Curious?

I don't see how the Golesh system is gimmicky? What's the gimmick, using the entire playing field?
