I am being serious...........how is he employable? He constantly throws shite against the wall and cries if it doesn't stick. From what I have seen, it rarely sticks.

frick this dude six ways from Sunday. I hope he travels to the Poland/Belarusian border, dresses in Swedish drag and gets gang raped by 50 goat lovers.

Dude can sit on a splintered bamboo umbrella pole covered in lemon juice and Tabasco and twirl.

If you see him in public, every documented square punch in the face gets $1000 from me.

Book it.

Had to look him up ....then realized why I've never heard of him. Sports Illustrated and one of it's most proclaimed writers of made fiction. We never bought the rag or read it ...Except for a occasional Swim Suit edition.

The storyline of Auburn and sports illustrated goes back decades ago with Shug and his star player of the time. The reason I know the story is from Shug and my Grandparents. Sports Illustrated wrote an article on the player. The article claimed that Shug never saw his players and the star in particular, never saw him. The lies told in the article. For some reason I think it was Tucker ...The reason the article was a flat out lie ....The player was dating Shug's daughter and was at the house more than anyone else ....So much for the theory of Shug never sees or talks to his players. After reading the article the player went to Shug's house to tell him he never said anything resembling what was in the srticle. Shug trusted his player and told him to ignore the lies ...

Why the tight bond with Shug? My Grandfather played on Shug's first freshman team ....Pre WW2. He blew out his knee on a punt return against Georgia. Shug refused to take away the scholarship saying that he committed to Auburn and Auburn was committed to him. He stayed with the team and learned about coaching and recruiting. War broke out...Grandda had his Civil Engineering degree. Shug went to Europe, Granddad went to the Pacific with the Marines ...He kept the runways open on Guadal Canal and Iwo Jima. After the war.

Granddad was coaching football in Birmingham. Shug called him and said "I just became Head Coach at Auburn. I need help." That was in April of 1951. Granddad started recruiting right away .....His first major coup ...Bobby Freeman ...While sitting with Shug one afternoon with my Granddad ...Shug said "Your Granddad recruited from 1951 to 1958 and I haven't seen a better recruiter since that time ...Ask him to sell his business and come back to recruit for me.

In the book "Saturdays to Remember" the preface tells the story about the Bobby Freeman recruitment...and concludes with "and the rest is history"

So, you can see that there is a history with Sports Illustrated and the trash they write.
