Weird it took them this long. Should've been done weeks ago with how awful Darnold and PJ Walker are

He'll finally get good coaching this year.

Still a shitty OL though. But at least he'll have better pass catchers than most of his career

uuuuuuu and oooooooooooo! Hey! Cam has a job. I also believe he has a few things to prove. Long exhale. Let's go panthers! Full circle and a Super bowl win. Let Cam take his show, whatever it is, with grace, after a Superbowl win with the Panthers. I am excited. Lots of Cam haters need a big middle finger(s) on their screen.

Cam does Cam things. Does anyone think he doesn't want to compete and win? What are the odds today of Carolina winning the Superbowl? I will take those shitty odds. Never, EVER count out Cam. Body of work. All the fun stuff after... that's Cam wanting to win and prove a point. That's it. We'll see. Let's go Cam! War Eagle.

Nice! Speaking of the Panthers, how has Derrick Brown been doing?

That HC is caught in a rock and hard place.

He's tried now for the last 2 years, signing a big FA Bridgewater with unhappy results I guess.

Let him go.

Then decided Darnold was the guy. !st round pick, not happy in NY, but over the course of the year, they haven't been happy with him either. Now he's hurt.

Weird that if they cut Cam to begin with why they would bring him back unless before it was all about the money?

But he;s got to be a stop gap until Darnold returns b/c I assume Cam is not the style of QB Ruhle wants.

Maybe this takes some heat off of Ruhle since Cam fans are just happy he's back, and they won't blame Ruhle for the QB problems before.

PS*!! frickers!! Can we please get TJF 1/3 of the.....frick it and nevermind.

It is too late now.

or

is it mother frickers? or is Bo going Jason Campbell style and busting out to aaan undefeated record. frick it. it''s 6 am here. It is soup weather now. Cool and clear, a little bit chilly at nights, but not bad..cloudless skies for days, but a little windy. More than a little windy. A lot windy. I have a few faiirly hi-tech kites I tried to give to my kids a year or two back...but they didn''t want them. So Imma gonna bust them out with ffriendds and H.C...

Very well. Not stuffing the stat sheet, but that's not really his job. He has still had some big games though, like 3 weeks ago he had 6 tackles, 2 TFL, and a sack and was the Panthers highest rated player on PFF on their defense for that week.

He definitely makes a big difference in their defense even when he isn't racking up stats

That's good to hear! I look forward to becoming a secondary Panthers fan again and watching these guys play.

Great video on Cam

He's such an entertainer when he can just let loose and be himself. I hope he has a resurgence so we can see more Cam in the future.

So awesome reading how happy this makes so many people in the comments of that vid.

Hope this at least ensures his career keeps going.

He needs to get on the brady plan and stay young.

r/Panthers was ecstatic too. The general consensus from Panthers fans seems to be that even if it doesn't work out, they're still excited anyway just to have Cam back.

I'm in the minority. Not a fan of bringing Cam back. Waste of money, in my opinion. Seriously what is the best case scenario? The guy is not going to get the Panthers in the playoffs with that O-line, for sure.

Obviously it's just my opinion and I would love to see Cam come back and light it up. I just have 0% confidence that will happen and then we've paid, what, $4.5 million to do it?

He is just a fill the gap guy. What are you even talking about?

That is my point entirely...why pay $4.5 million (at least) for Cam to be a fill the gap guy? Why not just suck it up and ride out the rest of the season with Barkley and PJ? Then get serious about a QB?

I'm not going to pretend to be a roster-management mastermind, but are they thinking they might sign Cam if he outperforms this year or something? That's the only reason I would think they pay that kind of money to have a guy ride out the rest of a lost season.

Carolina has screwed over so many of it’s own star veterans that this is a great first step at redemption.

I guess that's one perspective.

Either way, I'll certainly hope for success, I just don't think it was the most...financially efficient?...move they could make right now.
