It’s just the way of the world now, brother. Everything that can be monetized will be. Digital payments has been a huge enabler of that and you can’t stop the train. I used to be able to go sit on the opposite side of the football field in Mtn Brook with my dog and watch the game in peace from the OUTSIDE, but now they have a tent there too charging for sitting on the bare concrete steps.
I know but I don’t have to like it. And I sure as frick don’t have to give money to support it.

When did less than half become so close?
I'm dumb enough to donate. It got me 5 wins and a Christmas card that looked like it came from a kindergartener.

My grandfather used to take me to his little spot like that to watch local HS football games when I was a kid. He used to be the fire chief of the town and always had a spot next to the gate where the ambulances parked. Could stand there and have a great view of the entire field without the crowd. It was great looking back on it now.

Imma deduct it anyway.
87000 IRS agents will hunt this down.
Of course if we could get some of that Ukraine money? If we call our team the Kyev Tigers could we get a few billion?

After the buyouts of Gus Malzahn and Steven Leath, I determined that no amount of money I am likely to ever have in my lifetime is enough to move the needle on the kind of stupid going on at Auburn.
Yeah but.....We obviously learned a very valuable lesson through the pain and stupidity of those buyouts (and Harsin's).
I mean, its not like we went out and hired a coach with an incredibly checkered past that nobody else was competing with us for and then turned around and gave him similar buyout terms.
oh....wait...

Please insert "...that runs a gimmicky offense..." after the word "coach".

quote:This is not accurate. AU doesn’t owe Freeze a windfall if he’s fired like it happened for the goobers before. The buyout decreases every year from an absolute number perspective and the remaining amount is spread monthly over the full term of the contract.
then turned around and gave him similar buyout terms.

As someone who was born and raised in Columbus GA, this thread title hits me as kind of pervy.

Was told then Columbus was STD capital of the United States.
