Drunks do crazy things. I had a similar experience on a flight to England. Fortunately my 30 year career working with mentally ill juvenile offenders has equipped me to deal with situations like that. Physical restraints are not an infrequent occurrence at work. I hope everyone has a great weekend. War Eagle!

My son just got his Auburn acceptance!!! War Damn Eagle.

If he choses AU, he'll be my 3rd kid there and make the whole fam AU alums. He'll complete the 4th gen of AU for the fam.

See y'all in JHS tomorrow.

This post hits me at a different level. A guy I work with is Auburn to the core. He just happened to marry (now divorced) into a UaT family. He married the AU black sheep girl. His oldest son has broken his heart since he wants to go to Tuscaloosa for undergrad to go to Law School.

We took a client to lunch the other day and he was a frog hair away from literally crying about his oldest son's ambitions to graduate from Bama law school.

My 13 and 11 year old are talking about Chicago and NYU law schools. Im in for a world of hurt baws.

I did not type it but I was thinking the exact same thing.

She should have joined the game thread last week and posted her own version of "lucky images". The contrast would have added to the tension.

heading to a wedding in Daphne this weekend, will be helping with post-reception cleanup

bride’s parents are big AU fans so we will probably avoid the subject of football altogether

Low key this weekend which is NICE! We've been out of town the last few weekends and looking forward to chilling. I'll get my cursing at the TV done by early afternoon, which is nice as well.

Things appear to be lining up for an kid-free Saturday night...

Just found out something kinda cool. Former AU pitcher Jason Johnson (pitched AU's first ever perfect game) is the head baseball coach at the high school my wife works at.

Oh, and Lanier, I heard a really funny story about a guide trip on Lanier the other day from my barber.

My barber is in Braselton but grew up in Gwinnett back in the early 80s. Very much the outdoor type, hunts, fishes, etc.

His nephew booked a guided trip on Lanier with a guide, think he said his name was Youngblood. My barber brings his own rod and reel, an original Zebco bullet. Guide starts bitching about how he needs to use his professional equipment, etc. Basically devolved into a pissing contest, guide making snide remarks, barber asking asinine questions about every little thing.

Apparently it was one of those days where no wildlife was moving, land, sky, or water. Barber asks the guide "When are we going to catch some fish? I thought your advertising said you guaranteed to catch something." He said he was glad his nephew (6 foot plus, 250ish) was with him or he might have gotten thrown overboard, but he had never seen a boat go back to the dock as fast as this one when the day was done.

yea, I know him. Been around a long time.

Sometimes it is easier for guys to use the guides equipment if they dont have the right stuff. But, if you are not on the boat, its hard to really tell how things went. There are always two sides to a story

I have never taken anyone back and to be honest, I never really had any altercations in almost 5000 trips.

I alway have people ask me about horror stories and to be honest , I have just never had any

How many you want? You can’t expect me to just “remember” shite. I am old, somewhat busy and a occasional drinker
