Bammers say he battled injuries and probably was going to get beat out by others behind him.

Might be another Jameal Dean

Dean got processed from tOSU with a bullshite excuse

Pritchett is a little different. My instinct is to thank Bama for doing the hard work of figuring out he sucks and not pursuing

That’s what I’m saying. Dean got let loose from Ohio State because of injuries, and he was a stud for us and the NFL.

IIRC, he didn’t get processed, they just wouldn’t clear him following a multitude of knee injuries - thus the transfer.

Auburn cleared him and saved his career. One of those Will Muschamp recruits/transfers.

Chex's sources are his hopes and dreams. Let's hope they all come true.

Just looked it up... Ohio State definitely processed him in a really weird way. Dean had two knee injuries in HS.

He returned for his senior season but tore the meniscus in his right knee in his final prep game. After enrolling at Ohio State, the Buckeyes’ medical staff examined his knee and decided he wouldn’t be cleared to play football.
Article on Dean

There's no such thing as "not medically cleared" for a knee injury like that... I've seen guys with 2-3 knee surgeries and every "CL" torn continue to play. The decision to quit is always mutual (except with bad concussion stuff) and I guarantee if he was a starting QB or defensive end he would have been rehabbed and treated like a king.

The guy who took his spot is one year behind, a 99 247 composite, #5 in the country, and #1 OT...

He's only a RS Fr... he can't transfer again. Crazy not to take him if he's looking for a remotely reasonable NIL.

I watch him and Carlton every Sunday and cuss them just like they were at Auburn. Then you throw Kenny Britt out there and 30% of the Tampa defense is past Auburn dudes. Carlton Davis is the best of the 3. He makes 3 bad plays, then 1 good one.

That’s what I said. That’s the bullshite excuse

We know it’s bullshite because he was great and plays in the NFL now.

Bama’s OL sucked and Pritchett sucks

And he can transfer again. The ncaa recently said they don’t care anymore

OL is in a much better spot now. We don’t need the processed Bama players anymore. Y’all need to get some self respect

Time passes and people forget shite. But you’re right, they did some weird shite to process him and we benefited

It was weird then and we were all confused. He went on to be a hoss at auburn and I think it’s safe to say they processed him with a bullshite excuse

Sometimes the competition is just that amazing. Remember when Brandon Jacobs couldn't see the field because 2 top ten picks where ahead of him? What about Jameson Williams having like under 300 yards receiving at Ohio st because he was behind Garret Wilson and others? When you got a room of 5* players It might not have anything to do being a bust. That's why I asked about AJ Harris's situation earlier.
