And yet, Ashford’s 2022 stats are almost identical to PT 2023

It's amazing people don't see how much better of a qb Thorne is than Robby. He might not be as fast but hes also a better runner, argue with ya momma

Not sure where you learned math, but…
PT 2023 stats: 1,671 passing, 520 rushing (started 11 games)
2,191 total yards
Ashford 2022 stats: 1,613 passing, 710 rushing (started 9 games)
2,323 total yards
Let’s move on. If you want to keep going, start a thread. I’ll be glad to debate with you in there.

Put snaps taken in there.
Robby wasn't splitting carries was he?

I was worried that the latest iteration of Robby vs Thorne wouldn’t make it to this thread but I’m relieved to see that it has

Again, from the guy who simped the hardest for Joey frickin' Gatewood...the TE.
Did anyone see his TD catch vs Kentucky?

Chris McClellan could be a great replacement for Marcus Harris if we can snag him.

Nobody on this board is calling Peyton a All American but Jesus man, what did he say to you at fan day for you to go on like this? lol
We were top 15 in the SEC in passing yards per game (14th) and Thorne was also top 15 in the SEC in passer rating (13th). One more year in the system, a little work on timing, and you've got a very competent passing game.

He's focused. He's having fun. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a dark horse for the Heisman.

D2HB ‘bout to bish slap this whole frickin thread.
Hank Brown is 7 feet tall And lightning bolts fly out of his arse when he farts.
Hank the Tank can run over any SEC defensive player and he “paints pictures with his balls.”

There you go simping, when you were shouting from the rooftops when Ashford threw his only INT of the season on a Hail Mary right before halftime against ole miss.
He came in during the drubbing of Arkansas and immediately threw an interception on his first pass. The next series Geriner went in.

Please stop responding to him. I beg you.

Who cares? Would you have felt better if he was 28-43 for 280 and we still lost.
The bottom line is that 5-16 was good enough to beat a playoff team minus a muffed punt and Hail Mary. Not to mention that is all he was asked to do.
Is he a world beater? No. Is he good enough to win a bunch of games with when surrounded by better talent? I believe he is.

I'm not reading all this.
I'll just say that I'll take the Iron Bowl Thorne easily. Iron Bowl Thorne plus better WR play mean wins.

Considering he was 5-16 and it was close, I doubt we’d lost with those numbers.
