Any word on the beaman flip chances?

He comes from a broken household and may not be a "team player". Was told he will go to the highest bidder and that whatever school he chooses, he may not stay there and may be looking to go portal shopping every year.
His father has been the associate head coach/TE coach of Bethune Cookman for 15 years, and his bio certainly doesn’t sound like a broken home. But who knows…

His dad seems like a good guy. He was talking about LJ back in January when his recruitment was blowing up:
quote:
“You hear people talk about going to college and going to the NFL,” Lawal said. “My wife and I, our goal was if he was good enough to go somewhere and get a free education and get a degree that’s all we were looking for. One thing we know is education first and foremost in this family. Me and my wife got that from our parents and it’s really been a blessing. We never knew it was going to be like this.

Honestly, not much new there. He was back in Auburn last weekend. Hopefully Jourdin Crawford can stay in his ear about playing together at Auburn

What's up with this guy Antonio Alfano? Saw he's a CC semi washout super highly rated pass rusher and we've offered.
Kind of like guys like this. They know it's their last chance to sniff the league.

Signed with Alabama and transferred to Colorado. Didn’t see the field as he was diagnosed with epilepsy. Went to CC in Kansas and then transferred again to his current CC. He’s a 2019 recruit and would have 1 year left. We would be his 5th school.

Michael Dyer - Bust - What? He's top 15 all-time in two years of production. Granted he washed out for being a moron but we got serious production out of him for taking up 2 years of scholarship eligibility... in terms of scholarship slots vs. production he was about the best value you can get short of a Cam Newton type.
Freshman Most rushing yards by a freshman. 1,000 yard rusher on national title team. 143 yards on 22 carries in national title game. Offensive MVP
Sophomore 1,242 yards. All SEC

quote:Gotcha - if he can rush the passer I say bring him on in... we need pass rush BADLY and he'd have ample opportunity to showcase against the best of the best every week in the SEC.

JLee doesn't seem to like our hances a whole lot

He’d be a guy that could probably come in day 1 and take over Harris’ roll.

Yes he did, and I agree with your opinion, but in my world I only give benefit of the boom to good kids that dont later embarrass Auburn. The fact he is rated so highly (next to Derrick Brown in all time Auburn recruits) just to end up at Arkansas Baptist, Arkansas State, and Louisville tells you he lived the life of a bust.
Dyer is also making the broader lists of recruiting busts as well.

Today's Auburn team would've housed it then, and then lose.
We are basically the Chargers.
Also, didn't realize that 99 for Oregon might've spurred the second effort.

Under 10% imo. I think we’ve moved on to other targets.

Sounds like a deal was struck if you ask me….
I imagine Coleman telling Freeze he will commit if his little buddy comes along. That’s the only reason I see in offering a small unranked WR from Coleman’s school.
Craig just fired at TAMU.
It’s Coleman time baybay!
