Do we know if Hunter is coming back or testing the NFL waters? He and Alston coming back will be great, will be a great complement to the stud receivers. They can tee off of each other if they try to stop one position group.

Hunter isn’t a highly regarded prospect with all of his grades being UDFA. I’m fairly certain he will be back.

Why would he go pro he is slaying pussy left and right on campus.

So it seems that Duke’s Mike Elko will be Texas A&M’s coach. I know a bunch of folks like Riley Leonard. Do you think Leonard follows Elko to College Station?
And Lebby just inked a deal with Mississippi State. Rogers might stay in Starkville with that news.

Nice gets for both programs. Recruiting about to get tougher. Elko will challenge UT for Texas kids.

Cam will probably wait til NSD, but it looks good for Auburn right now.

None yet. Bryce Cain posted something saying "I know things y'all don't know."
I suspect Coleman was waiting to see who aTm hired. Elko is a good coach, but he's a defensive coach which might be good for us in this cycle.

I saw Lebby as a good day for state but I guess I’m just underwhelmed on Elko if I’m a TAMU fan. Not that I’d know who I’d want if I’m them but if money wasn’t an option I’d think they would want a bigger name.

You’ve seen what Elko has done with Duke, correct?

The way recruits are talking it sounds like guys have already made decisions to come to Auburn. Based off what we’ve seen from Freeze my guess is they announce at strategic times. Not sure if that’s this week to help the sting of the loss, around the SECCG, or if he makes ESD a flipmas.
Not expecting us to hit on every recruit but there’s enough optimism that I think we hit on enough.

I have, I’m just not convinced that translates to sec west turn around. Might be wrong but I don’t see it yet.

Well, recruiting wasn't really the issue for Jimbo and A&M.
If I was an offensive player at aggy, I'd really like to see who he brings in as OC before I made a decision. With him being a defensive guy, the OC hire is pretty important for him. Talent and defense haven't been the big issues at A&M the past few years. It has been Jimbo's archaic and overly-complicated offensive scheme.

My gut says CC has already made up his mind and not sure it would matter who A&M got as OC. All the recruiting guys have felt like he flips somewhere, the question was where. Him coming to AU every chance he can, even during the week has me really optimistic.
RW is the one I’m going to have to see it before I believe it.

Agree. Good hires by both programs.

A&M was already recruiting lights out. Not sure how that changes. It’s a hard job, and hiring coaches is a crap shoot. We’ll see what happens there
Same applies to MSU. We’ll see. That’s another hard job

The ACC is a weak conference, Clemson has dominated for years but Dabo’s reluctance to get involved in the portal hurt them. The rest of the conference is about like Kentucky. Evidenced by Kentucky beating the second best team Louisville at their place saturday. I don’t think Elko will be any better than Jimbo or Rumlin

Ok I think differently about Elko but only time will tell.
