See that's the problem. No reason to argue. I speak my opinion you speak yours. I have no problem with discussion or disagreement. The problem i have is useless lies and people that try to make "factual" statements about play X or player Y and they have no idea what the hell they are talking about.

I thought the same thing attalla. Officially you arent supposed to talk to them but no rules about talking to a third party like their hs coach or parent.
Id bet both the recruit and the coaches know who it is by now. You couldnt discuss it with these WR recruits, but you could say, trust me this current crew will not be your QB, you will have a good one.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, maybe thats why Willams wants to sign in Feb, wants to see who that portal QB will be.

I still stand by I think we finish at worst 10 in the final rankings.
Ryan Williams I have no idea what he is going to do. I never like the idea of a football player reclassifying. Basketball is a little different. So Williams reclassifies. He would come in the fall for fall practice. I hope this coming season we have our offense installed prior to fall practice. So we may miss 6-7 games without Williams being ready to go. Has nothing to do with his talent just the understanding of the offense.

Y'all are welcome to have as many disagreements as you want. You both are guilty of what you are accusing the other of doing and both have acted childish over the last few weeks, carrying this back and forth from thread to thread, whether you see it or not. I'm not trying to put any blame on any one person and it hasn't been just the two of you alone, just pointing out the reality. All i'm asking is getting back to civil discussions.
How about both sides quit the personal call outs and personal attacks and get back to actual discussions? Fair enough?

‘25 4* QB Ryan Montgomery will visit this weekend. He’s probably the top QB in the staff’s board for 2025

High floor kid. Never hurts to take a kid out of Thompson either.

I’ve seen him play twice. He looks the part physically. Have no problem with the pickup.

Is he dual threat or does he need 5*s blocking for him like finley?

He's more of pocket passer but is mobile so probably a Dual threat for ranking perspectives. Similar to Walker White

Maybe. Box Safety is what I see him as currently. Like the Kaufman, Scott role. Especially if he's not having to play in space against a Slot WR.
I think Winters place will be determined by how good of OLB we get over the next 2 years
So sorta like our Edge and Star positions. both can be filled with OLB's if they have the skill to play. Bigger longer OLB's can be edge rushers, OLB's with speed and coverage skills (like Winters) can play the star position. But the Star position falls under the safety coach.
