Collins is more of a blocking TE, and JLee thinks them coming back is part of it. Not sure I buy that, I just think Collins sees the writing on the wall. He can probably go somewhere else and be a bigger asset than his role will be at Auburn
Processed. Haven't kept up with his season, but I would be willing to go out on a limb and say the coaches haven't been overly impressed. Collins was probably our worst commit tbh.

Hearing that Carter news after his visit is big. I was kind of worried about that one.

Can’t rule out Texas ever, but I don’t think the visit changed the calculus for him.

Need to close on House and Favour. IMO, Favour is a 4* candidate

What about the trigonometry and algebra on him? I need all formulas equating to A+U.

Auburn has been better than 8-5 historically. Hell, they were the best team in the SEC in the 80 and 00s in terms of wins and loses.

Were you even alive in the 80's? I promise you I was and I watched them. I know what they are historically because we have had this conversation on this board 1000 times. Auburn historically is a 8-5 program. Just go do the math. If I remember well, it was something like 8.25 wins historically

It sounds like I , and the other millions of people, dont have a choice. If we dont, we cant say anything about the program. Amirite?

Its true. No doubt. But other brands wont fit.

But I will get more out of my 110 that first perfectly in the front of my boat than I will giving money to Auburn who may or may not give it to a 17 year old to buy weed with. Hell, I raised 3 kids who I had to give money to for years. Ive done my part

Someone added up the games played vs games won. Cant remember..

I will look

ETA

Auburn Tigers football
All-time record 785–452–47 (.630)

If you convert that to todays 12 game schedule, 7-5 is (.714)

So we are not even a 7-5 program historically. I think a more realistic look, or one that really mattered to most of us, would be to look at the last 50 years.

That all time record counts back 100 years ago. And nobody but beatbamer was around then

7-5 is .583 not .714

You can just look at 785-452 and divide each by 100 and you get 7.85-4.52. So that’s the true reflection of Auburn all time. Better than 7-5 but not as good as 8-4.

Laniers math was off but his point is still right. 63% win percentage has us as 7.5-4.5 on a 12 game season and 8.2-4.8 if you throw in a bowl game for a 13 game season.

Yea, I wasnt comfortable with the way I did it so thanks.

I believe when we did this before, the last 40 years was a little better but still not better than 8-4

The numbers done lie. Unless I do the math

I attended probably 85% of our games (home and away) in the 00s. Unfortunately we were nowhere close to the best team in that timeframe. I'm not sure even sure we were top 4.

Does that number reflect out bowl record or did you just count all the bowl games as wins?
