Wow - did we ease off him or something?

Hard to say. Miami was def one of the teams that have been in it the whole time though. He had a visit not too long ago, so they probably just made a good impression and spent big on him.

I did kind of get the feeling the past couple of weeks that we weren't hearing much about him anymore.. Maybe the staff noticed he was trending to Miami and backed off a bit.

Also noticed we were hearing less on Riley. We all knew he wanted Bama to want him, and I personally didn’t think that was happening.

I know Auburn feels both better about Hill AND better about grabbing someone later that’s not Hill, possibly a late riser. I’d still love Riley or Hill but I’m not sure we absolutely need either. However, we’re eventually gonna need to hit on 2 backs one class, probably

I've always liked Hill more as a LB. Riley was def my top want at RB, but I said a few times on here that if we want them we have some good fall back options at RB. I would be more than OK seeing how Brandon Hood does this year and picking him up if he looks good.

Also sitting good for Alvin Henderson next year. He's smaller so that could be the class to go 2 RBs in. One smaller guy and one bigger guy.

jt, the thoughts on the small versus larger backs, I thought the same. Kind of why I wanted Hill, he and Burnete two big backs bookended with Cobb this year and hopefully Alvin next year.

Hill would be a great Jack but I think he made it clear he wants to be a running back. He has great hands, most of his highlight reel is as a receiver, and his QB isnt very good so all the balls are 50/50

Im just so looking forward to some bigger backs.

And yes you and Jonesy are correct Riley was the best back available for us, great vision when he runs. Cant get them all.

Potential to be the highest prospect ever out of the state of Georgia.

Yeah, don’t sleep on Riddick. Not near as much of a bammer lean as most think.

Clemente is close to putting a CB in for Riggs. I think House and Reese Baker are OL locks. Maybe one more guy

Riggs would be a good one and sounds like Walker White tweets him hourly.

House, Thornton really likes him.they say Freeze saw him run four plays at camp and said offer him.

Pink seems to think the coaches are really high on this guy Coen Echols out of Texas. Not highly ranked but has some nice offers. He said he reminds him of Wade, great feet, long arms for a guy that is six foot three.

Ones Im curious about Fletcher Westphal, dont seem to hear much lately. Preston Tauma, Daniel Calhoun, DeAndre Carter, Casey Poe. Did Westphal or Calhoun have OVs set up I know the others have already.

I think Cobb could also grow into a bigger back. Not 220+, but I could see him getting to around 210.

I still think South Carolina might be the team to watch for Hill. He mentioned something about leaning towards 1 school..Just a gut feeling its them.

Not worried about RB. Just eventually gonna need 2 guys sometime. Seems to be a position where guys can rise late with a good season and I’d like to see us grab one of those types late fall if Hill goes elsewhere

We didn't even know who Jarquez Hunter was until they found him in January. Serviceable RB are a dime a dozen

Now we know a little more about him than I think we should.

Not sure if this got mentioned, but Pink at On3 likes Auburn’s chances with 4* OL Taumua. A prediction could be coming

He’s announcing Aug 24th and it’s thought that he’s down to Auburn and Alabama

Coach A is a game changer in that recruitment. It’s hard to pull those Hawaiian guys without some connection to the island.

It definitely helps, and we also still have Jorrell Bostrom (Tongan) as Director of Player Development

Pink posted 4* TE Roger Saleapaga is visiting today to hang out with Ben Aigamaua. He could be rising on the board.

Definitely seems like the staff is hoping for 2 TEs. Probably needs to be the right 2, but still
