People need to stop including Cyrus K. In this discussion. We pretty much trolled Bama with that one. Unfortunately his parents wouldn't allow it.

His situations is nothing like any of the others.

Yea, and that is not just a coincidence.

Regarding RaShaan Evans, who cares? I always said he would not stay at STAR for us, and that he would outgrow it. I absolutely believe that. Having said that, we have players like Robenson Therezie, Justin Garrett, Brandon King, and possibly Derrick Moncrief that could take over that position. And we are fine at linebacker.

Plus, we return an incredible team this season full of returning starters, and add in a lot of players that can contribute immediately. We just took Florida State down to the final seconds in the National Championship after coming off a 3-9 season, whipped Mizzou's arse in the SEC Championship, and ripped Alabama's heart out. We aren't going away, and we will compete at the top of the SEC again next year.

I doubt anyone is that malicious. Especially with how busy they are, what with class, studying, chasing skirts, working out, hanging out with friends, and enjoying being a care free teenager. Give it a rest. The kid wanted to go to another school. If it was UCLA you wouldn't think twice about it. Some of you need to get lives.

Are you naive enough to believe this? There was way too much weird stuff going on for it to be that simple.

Nope i have no problem with his school choice but multiple people that are close to the situation have said he was untruthful and deceitful... If a young man chooses another path in life thats fine, but to blame it on youth is a joke

I know how the recruiting game is played; I'm far from naive on that. However, let's not sit around and claim an 18 year old kid fricked with a coaching staff on his own accord for shits and giggles.

If you choose to find peculiarity and a theme with these situations over the years, I can't say I blame you. I respect TTs post above. Let's not fault the kids in the situation when the adults are culpable.

I will fault the 18 year old all day. 18 is a grown man andreresponsible for himself and his actions.

Well he apparently did lie to the coaching staff and the Opelika guys that showed up at his announcement. I don't fault him for going somewhere else. I just think it was handled poorly, which seems to be a common theme once or twice a year when it comes down to Auburn and Bama.

Exactly how I feel.

There are positive of this, though... Alabama saved us a headache with Brent Calloway, Greg Robinson ended up being better than Cyrus Kouandjio, Tre Mason ended up being better than TJ Yeldon, and as far as I'm concerned, Reuben Foster, Dee Liner and RaShaan Evans have yet to do anything on a college football field.

I hope you're not serious. There are very, very few 18 year olds that are "grown men."

100 percent serious. When I was 18, I moved out started working in the summers, going to AU, and taking out loans to support myself.

I also fricked up plenty. Got in trouble and had to pay for my mistakes.

At 18 you are most definitely responsible for your choices and actions. If not, you have problems and your parents failed somewhere along the way.

I don't have a problem with people or myself being pissed about Evans. frick him. I will stay pissed at him and not act like I hope he succceeds. The reason is partially due to past problems with the lb position and Bama pulling guys we need to rot on the bench, all the way back to petey smith. And part of it was what appears to be some aasshole moves by him. So frick him.

Btw, when you are 18, you are still like a kid in someways. Doesn't mean you are not responsible for your decisions.

And it doesn't mean the world can't knock your dick in the dirt and step on you for your frick ups.

Damn right. Eighteen year olds put their lives on the line for their country everyday in Afghanistan and other hot spots in the world.

But, yeah... lil Rashaan has it soooooo hard.

The thing that pisses me off most about this whole thing is I have been robbed of my sweet, sweet TTsTowel melt.
