Only a couple of people are involved with hiring. People only say there are such things as verbal agreements in hiring when they are wrong. In reality, someone knew Craig was going to stop by and talk to Gus and Jay and that got turned into a media frenzy because of all of the "insiders" that are paid or compelled otherwise to provide information on the meeting.

It's not a fluid process. There are no verbal agreements. Barbee's agreement to coach Auburn was a verbal agreement and he was actually coaching. Anyway, I can't stop people from fabricating stories. Do what you guys want

As promised the coordinators were hired quickly,

I thought he said he would take his time hiring the coordinators. No? Seems fluid

when gus came aboard he liquidated coaches.....adds credibility to the fluidity with which we find ourselves in.

Considering how much I drank this season, everything regarding Auburn Football has been fluid in my life

I don't see brother Chette (aka the Bagman) on any lists anywhere. Anyone know his status? Assuming Gus keeps him or hires someone like him since his old lady seems a little "religious".

I would love to hire Wayne Dickens as the spiritual advisor for the team. 2004 player who is a local minister working with FCA in Auburn

Breaking: Richard Dawkins hired as Auburn spiritual advisor, promises to take team in new religious direction though citing 'a difficult and confusing challenge in front of him'.

Was there anything worth mentioned on the coaching update on AUC?

No not really. Same names being discussed with a possible one or two big name in the mix. Which no names were given in the article. So like usual PM has nothing.

The Titans' defensive line has played much better over the last four weeks... it will be interesting to see what staff changes are made this off season. Jerry Gray (DC) could be gone, and if that happens, some other defensive changes could be made.

I guess what I'm saying is that it's not a foregone conclusion that Rocker will be looking for a job in in two weeks... and even if he is, some other NFL teams could take a look at him (or he could wait and see what opens up and weigh his options).

When should we expect to hear on the rest of the open coaching positions? Next couple of weeks I'd expect right?

I am thinking once the NFL season winds down, and some of the bowl games played.
