Malzahn instills no killer instinct in his players. After that shite show last week, all he can say is he's 'excited' about the team. frick this. No OL. Stupid fricking play calling. Stupid fricking routes for our WRs. No defense. Nothing.

There has to be dysfunction within the coaching ranks.
There is zero excuse for this to be happening at AU when you consider the recruiting classes and how much the coaches are paid.

Good HC's are intelligent, and you can tell pretty quickly if they are or not. I didn't see it in Gus when he was hired—I was luke-warm on the decision. I changed my mind after watching the 2013 season, but after last season and now, it's been nothing but underwhelming.
He going to need to change perceptions in a big way and fast if he wants me to keep believing.
I do think we'll pull away and win this game, but I have 0 confidence in this team right now.
Carl and Tray do make an incredible difference on D. I didn't think that would be the case.
