I really don't think Saban has much interest in bringing Pruitt back....I think they will promote Mel Tucker and be done with it.
And from reading what UGA is saying, it doesn't appear that Kirby will retain him even tho he has been given the ok to do so.
There may be something to the rumors of burning bridges at Bama, and maybe Kirby doesn't want anything to do with him on his new staff.

Here's the deal.
At AU, Pruitt would have the keys to the kingdom to run his defense. If he turned it around it, everyone would say ' did you see what he did at AU!'
At Bama, everyone would just say 'That's Saban's defense like it has been for years.'
Upside for his career is AU.

Pruitt has ran on his own 3 straight top 20 defenses (w/ offensive HCs) . To put that into perspective, only 4 teams in CFB have put together 3 straight top 20 Ds
Hard to imagine he wants to go to Alabama or UGA and get micromanaged by Nick Saban or Kirby Smart

Per JGT 20 minutes ago talks are still ongoing w/ AU & Kelly. He gives it a 30% chance. Happy @ FSU & is secure but wants to coach at AU @ some point. These kind of offers don't come along often.

Saw on AUF, from somebody who has come with solid info before, that Kelly is wanting an awful lot. It seems he is Gus' first choice and Gus is continuing to work on Kelly.
