Ok, little refresher for those who don’t know how the WEP Top 5 is calculated.

#1 on the list is who I want.

#2-5 are who I think we are looking at in order.

Simple. So, if you see Dabo show up in 2-5, don’t think I want him because I don’t like that fricker.

I hate that we’re going through this once again, but damnit, I love a coaching search!

Good list! Durkin isn’t my first choice so I definitely disagree there but a good list in total for sure.

Realistically we won’t hire anyone for a month …. I’m not sure I can handle this.

Some UF Bull's think they have kiffin in the bag. That means Ole Miss will be open too.

If Durkin somehow goes undefeated the rest of the year are we forced to hire him?

You can’t deny the fact that he is a great defensive coach. However, if we give him the keys, what’s he going to do with the offense? Can he recruit? Does he know how to work the portal? This is what really matters. We’ve been so bad on offense the last 5 years. We need offense.

1.Dan Lanning- In our dreams
2. Jon Gruden- We could probably do worse.
3. Rhett Lashlee- meh
4. Jon Sumrall- too risky
5. Charles Kelly- Oh hell no!

Would Mike Locksley OC, Durkin Defense/ HC interest you?

Mike won the Broyles award in 2018

Durkin can definitely recruit.

I think he should. IF he keeps at his pace, he will have a statue in Oxford. kiffin is not known for his smarts though.

On the other hand, UF can win NC's. They have as good an AD as there is. They are right in the middle of the best recruiting grounds on the planet. There are a lot of plusses for UF.

Collegiate resume holds no weight with me. If you can coach at the pro level there's reason to believe something translates and he's never stepped away from the game. He knows the meta and would actually coach football. And kids would love him. It's unorthodox no doubt but I'm not convinced it would be the disaster people think it would be.

And he's made a living off acumen, that's part of the marketing.

I honestly can not even imagine what living out there could possibly be like. I know there are probably some areas that are fine but man , it seems horrible.
