You miss the second part?

No, I didn't.

But since you didn't say that the "rough" part pertained specifically to his blocking, I assumed that you meant to refer to both his blocking and his rushing.

If you didn't want someone to assume that, then you might want to try to be more clear with your words.

Malzahn on Therezie

"We are working through some eligibility issues right now with him," Malzahn said. "We should know more in the near future. That’s all I’m going to say about that."

I really really hope this is "grade" or "drug" eligibility and not money/booster/car/agent/iphone eligibility

I wouldn't worry about that. It has been speculated for several weeks that he has failed more than one drug test. As much as it has been talked about, I would have been shocked if there was nothing to it.

Diluted drug test sounds about right based on what Gus said

If everything works out, Garrett will ball out and Therezie will watch the rest of the year from the bench (except to give Garrett a blow).

if he took something to cover it up, then he did technically fail the test... that's what t is considered at least

True he would have failed the test, but not for marijuana. I know its splitting hairs but it could provide a little wiggle room in regards to the length of his punishment. Especially if he retakes the test and passes it before the season starts

Preseason camp ended today. Time to start focusing on Arky.

quote:

@wareagleextra: Lashlee on camp: "Overall it was a good camp." Thankful they "made it through without any major injuries."

quote:

@wareagleextra: Lashlee on the freshmen: "Sean White has had a phenomenal camp from a freshman quarterback standpoint."

They hope to redshirt him.

quote:

@AUBlog: Lashlee names RBs Roc Thomas, Kam Pettway, OL Braden Smith, HB Jakell Mitchell & WR Stanton Truitt as freshmen that could contribute this yr

They were surprised how well Jakell did this camp after coming off his injury last year. Want him to gain some weight though.

quote:

@wareagleextra: Lashlee just called Nick Marshall's and Jeremy Johnson's friendship as a "bromance." Yup. He really said that.

There's just not gonna be enough touches to go around for Mitchell this year.... but we're gonna need him next year with both TEs graduating and potentially our two bigger WR targets leaving early.

Lashlee on Grant "He's really rocked up. The amazing thing is he hasn't lost any of his speed. He's a thick big strong back that can fly"

On Jakell Mitchell "He's even more athletic than we though. Needs to put on some weight"

On Roc Thomas "He's definitely an every down back. He probably isn't ready to carry the ball 30 times like Tre last year, but neither was Tre his freshman year. Roc's not small though he's close to 6' 200lbs. He's an every down back"

Myron Burton missed some time with hammy injury, but Lashlee really excited about his future.

Braden Smith is the "Hulk" can really bend and move to be so big.

I was pleasantly surprised by this because it didn't show on his film but Lashlee said Jakell Mitchell is very physical. Said he isn't afraid of anyone he'll hit the biggest guy on the team and not back down.

I think they're thinking of him as an H-back right now more than a TE

Braden Smith is in the 2 deep and on special teams. Exclusively at left tackle

Chris Laye needs a year in the weigh room to bulk up.

Sean White more athletic than people think he's deceptive. He can extend the play and has great anticipation. Can really spin the ball.

Kam Pettway got the bulk of the carries in yesterdays scrimmage and did really well. Roc done well in last weeks scrimmage.

Pettway, Roc, and Barber still fighting for the 3rd RB spot.
