Could someone tell my why Duke is soo good. Don't get me wrong I believe the hype but what is that makes him so good? Is he a speedster that can get behind the defense like Coates? Is he great after the catch making people miss? The one thing I saw in the Aday game is he has great hands and times the jump perfectly to go up and get the ball. Does he have a sick vert? What makes so many coaches say he's the best ever? A combo of all the above?

He is more in te mold of a Greg Chilfs or Alshawn Jeffrey. Smaller in weight that. Jeffrey.

He is physical, great hands, and great after the catch.

He has great hands, he's got solid speed, plays even bigger than he is (and he's already good sized at 6'2 215ish), and he has the uncanny ability to win just about every 50-50 jump ball. He's just a natural WR

Dude's just a natural. He knows how to position himself when the balls in the air and box out like a basketball player. It's essentially a legal form of offensive pass interference. He did a really good job of working the DB into a bad position to make a play on the ball on one jump ball in the endzone during A-Day.

ETA: AMM beat me to it

. But I hate it when people give credit to a lift when a spotter is taking a good bit off the lift.

Am I the only one that would love to see Smith adopt the CyKo slap a few times?

Got my tickets, noticed the tickets had a picture and the year of certain teams. 2013, 2004, 1989, 2010, 1993, 1983, 1957. All great years.

I really did not know a lot about him until the spring game. When I saw him, he was big, ran great routes and went after the ball. But the biggest thing I personally saw with him was his confidence. He looked like a cocky bastard that was not afraid to block and go after the corners one on one.

Sammie
-Better route runner and catching ball better

-complete receiver
-one of the best blockers on the team
-was up to 218 lbs. Now at 215. CDC wants him at 210-212

Ric
-has played & knows all 4 WR spots
-quicker and faster
-focused on running routes and catching the football
-down from 218 lbs to 210

I hope Denson has a solid year. If we can get three reliable receivers, more would be even better, with our running game.........oly ell.
