Austin is a quality control analyst. We still need a QBC if Nix is only hired as an OC and nothing else which doesn’t seem likely at all.
Who would coach the QB’s in practice? Or talk to them during the game? Not Austin if he’s in an off field role. Hugh isn’t going to spend his entire time with the QB’s. We would need a QBC.

Austin and Montgomery we're both QB coaches. Austin could still be off the field and work with them.
I think the Caddy move is possible though. There's just too much to really know either way.

Would be fine with me. He and Freeze have worked together before, he’s been in the SEC for over a decade, and he’s recruited some of the best that have ever played for Ole Miss.

You guys remember the back and forth that Gus used to do year after year? First: Offensive genius calling plays, then oh I need to more CEO like and need to delegate more and focus on all aspects of the program, then oh I need to be more involved in play calling because the CEO thing is not working out and offense is not clicking… will fricking hate it if it goes back and forth like that. Starts looking like a way to apportion blame.

I’m fine with it being Freeze as long as he owns it and doesn’t shift blame to whatever pawn he hires
