That loss was huge fall after beating the piggies so soundly and unexpectedly.

Arkansas created a huge sense of false confidence from the team. Their best is solid but their worst clearly sucks. We’ve seen good teams coast and almost lose to G5 teams. This team had no busy thinking they should be guaranteed a win.

NM came well prepared to Auburn's base offense and our D expected a cake walk over NM school of cosmetology so no need for serious prep.
Oops. Hope that mistake isn't ever made again! Sure was an ugly and embarrassing loss.

auburn has problems but i don't think nmsu was a cupcake.
And it would be nice to not hire them again especially after the 1.7M comment. Hire a worse team.
Auburn seems to bring in teams for years that gives it fits with QBs that made us jealous; going all the way back to Brett Favre. Brett Favre and Southern Miss beat #15 Auburn (1990)

NMSU was a cupcake anyway you look at it. Maybe a cupcake in the corner of the box that didn't get the sprinkles like the ones from the middle from Publix.
Absolutely pathetic! AU outmanned them on every position. Their kicker fell down in pregame warm-ups. Now these MF's want money (AU).
Old ITAT reference, but if we studied teams for 4-7 years'ish we would not be in this problem. Top teams understand football better than us. They schedule teams on the decline. It's like AU is always playing catch-up. Watch these opening weekend games.
I swear, we would schedule Wake Forrest w/ their best team ever.
