No way this can be true. If it is, I foresee a nuclear meltdown on the way.

Please pray for all the newborns, kittens, and seal pups that I will kick when/if Steele is announced as head coach.

Our new ‘22 commit from today said he talked to Steele and McGriff and they told him the defensive coaches next year would probably be the same

I had lurked for a few years before but posted only on itat. 09 was my first year at auburn and didn’t wanna keep paying for a subscription to itat. Knew I could get about the same news here for free so cancelled there and never looked back.

Had posted on itat from the time I was 13-14 years old to 18. Before that I posted on auburnfootball.com as like a 11-12 year old been on the message boards my whole life

Yeah, I’ll be done. frick it if they hire a dude that was on the staff of the guy we just fired. Auburn will deserve everything that happens after.

I mean, I’m guessing they have to say that But it doesn’t help squash the Steele rumors

I like Steele but this would be a huge let down. Who could he get as OC?

If it’s such a “done deal,” it’d be announced officially already. Why risk recruiting if you already have your guy and he wants the job? Why the search committee charade?

It would be the most Auburn hire of all time.

Part of me wants Kiffin just to see Tuberville 2.0 happen with Ole Miss fans. Man, they were pissed on the boards, especially Rivals.

No clue. I would hope we would keep Caddy on staff at least. The words "traditional offense" have been said though, whatever that means.

Edit- For the record it was also said that doesn't mean 3 yards and a cloud of dust either. Which is why I'm not sure what exactly it means.
