I am not sure he is better than Kiffin or not. The one thing I do know about Kiffin..............he doesn't stay anywhere for long. Either he moves on his own or he gets fired.

I like supporting decent humans. Also don’t like the idea of having to vacate wins like Ole Miss had to under Freeze, but maybe that’s just me. If he is able to run a clean program then I’m absolutely on board.

I'd prefer Lane
Lane is at least entertaining. Freeze is just obnoxious with his feigned piousness, but he's a good coach.

Freeze’s programs have shown improvement every year, less his last year at Ole Miss which was riddled with investigations and distractions. Lane is a bit more exciting but hasn’t shown much stability imo. I’d be happy with either at this point though.

You can't really just discount those last year's at OM though. He was the one who created those investigations and distractions.

I admit, I prefer Lane's immaturity to the hypocrisy of Freeze. Not a great fan of either, but one is much more tolerable.
Also, if it does not work out, at least we get to enrage Ole Miss --- but I think we would love his offense compared to what we have seen for years.
At the end of the day, Freeze just seems like a variation on Gus.

That’s great and all, but it’s still fricked if we hire Freeze, when before we were too morally good for him, — this just to keep Steele, while telling Cristobal and Napier they can’t have full control.

It wasn’t all great but he recruited well (yes cheated), beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa (how long has it been)... auburn could certainly do worse and they’re trying their best to

Freeze is clearly clickbait. The SEC office has already turned down Saban's and SC's request to hire him. They're not going to change their minds because we can't find anyone that will say yes
